FROZEN FRUIT YOGURT (FOR ICE CREAM MACHINE)
I frequently make this during the summer using my favorite fruits (strawberries or blueberries or peaches, mmmmmm!!), just about any fruit can be used....experiment!

- Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
- Chill mixture (about 1-2 hours).
- Pour chilled mixture into your ice cream machine and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

BERRY BERRY FROZEN YOGURT (HEALTHY; FOR ICE CREAM MACHINE)
A perfect light dessert. Also great when you mix 1/2 cup of this stuff with 1/4 cup milk to make a smoothie! I'm an ice cream-aholic so I asked for a ice cream machine for Christmas. Well, I got one! muah ha ha ha!

- In a medium bowl, mix the milk and sugar until the sugar is dissolved (about 1 to 2 minutes on low speed).
- Stir in the yogurt, berry puree and extract.
- Freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
- NOTE: the ice cream gets really hard if its put into a container in the freezer. I put it in a plastic bowl. I had to defrost it in the microwave for a little while before I could dig into it. Anyone know a better container I could put it in? I was thinking an empty ice cream container that I'd already used all the ice cream from?

VANILLA FROZEN YOGURT
This frozen yogurt is so much easier than homemade ice cream! Just so you know, this freezes a lot quicker than ice cream. Also, if you want tart frozen yogurt, feel free to decrease the sugar!

- Stir the yogurt, sugar, and vanilla extract together until the sugar has dissolved. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions until it reaches "soft-serve" consistency. Transfer to a one- or two-quart plastic container with a lid; cover surface with plastic wrap and seal. For best results, frozen yogurt should ripen in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.
