Funfetti Cookie Dough Bites image

These white chocolate dipped Funfetti Cookie Dough Bites are perfect anytime, but I especially love the idea of serving a platter of these at a birthday parting instead of traditional cake and ice cream.

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup candy sprinkles
1/2 cup white candy melting chips

Steps:

  • Cream sugar, butter and vanilla.
  • Add milk. Add flour while continuing stirring.
  • Once well blended, stir in half of the sprinkles.
  • Form into balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Place in freezer for at least 1 hour.
  • Melt candy chips by heating in microwave for 30 seconds then stirring and repeating until melted and smooth.
  • Using a fork, dip balls into candy and flip to cover completely. Lift with fork and gently tap on edge of the bowl allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Place back on parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle with candy sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate 10 minutes until chocolate has set.
  • If you'd like, you can print this recipe to save for another time.

There's no need to buy a boxed mix when you can make these funfetti cookies from scratch with a basic cookie recipe and some multicolored sprinkles.

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
¾ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup multicolored candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Cream sugar and butter together in a large bowl until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla and almond extracts. Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Fold in sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
