- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and milk. Add the sugar, butter, salt, baking soda and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a firm dough., Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. , Turn onto a lightly floured surface; cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Divide into 32 pieces. Shape each into a 4-1/2-in. rope., Place melted butter in a shallow bowl. Place cheese in a second shallow bowl. Dip ropes in butter, then coat with cheese. Place 3 in. apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Combine Italian seasoning and garlic powder; sprinkle over breadsticks. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. , Bake at 375° for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks. Serve warm.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 425.
- 2. Mix butter and garlic in a small bowl and set aside.
- 3. Unroll pizza dough onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and brush with butter and garlic mixture.
- 4. Sprinkle cheeses and spices evenly over the dough.
- 5. Use a pizza cutter and cut dough into stick shapes (Lengthwise into 7 long strips and crosswise into 3 strips). Do not seperate strips.
- 6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
- 7. Recut along each strip and remove from cooking sheet.
- 8. Serve sticks warm with marinara sauce.

- In a large bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups flour, wheat germ, yeast and salt. In a saucepan, heat the water, 1 tablespoon oil and honey to 120°-130°. Add to dry ingredients; beat just until moistened. GARLIC CHEESE BREAD STICKS

- Set an oven rack on the bottom position and preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Melt the butter in a pan with the garlic and bring to a simmer. Brush the garlic butter over the bread, lay slices of the mozzarella on top and sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
- Put the bread onto a baking sheet and cook on the bottom rack for about 10 minutes.
PARMESAN AND GARLIC BREADSTICKS
These are really good and easy to prepare. They have a nice crisp crust and we loved the addition of the garlic salt on top. You can make these any size you want, from thin to larger. - In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit until bubbly, about 7-8 minutes.
- Add the milk, sugar, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, 3 tablespoons butter, salt, and 2 cups flour.
- Beat until smooth.
- Stir in 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead with bread hook for 7-8 minutes adding additional flour as needed.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead about 10-15 times.
- Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes.
- Punch the dough down and let it rest a couple of minutes.
- For thin bread sticks, divide into 36 pieces.
- (This is very versatile here. You can make them as small or as large as you want. I cut mine into 18 pieces for a larger breadstick).
- Shape each piece into a 6 inch rope.
- Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 25-35 minutes.
- Melt remaining butter and brush over the dough.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garlic salt.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from pans to wire racks.

- 1. Whisk together flour, garlic salt, sugar, yeast and slowly add in water. 2. Mix together until dough is created. 3. Using your hands knead for one minute and from a ball. 4. Spread 1 TBS olive oil in a separate bowl and transfer pizza dough to that bowl. 5. Roll our dough. 6. Add butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to a small bowl and microwave until melted. SHEET PAN GARLIC BREADSTICKS RECIPE
A huge pan of easy homemade breadsticks ready in less than 45 minutes! Top with your favorite herbs and seasonings to make these a family favorite.

- In the bottom of your mixer (I used a KitchenAid mixer), mix together water, sugar, and yeast using your dough hook attachment. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Add in the salt and flour and mix until it's all incorporated. Mix on high speed for 5 minutes, then let dough sit and rest for 5 more minutes.
- Melt the butter and pour half into the bottom of a large baking sheet (I used a cookie sheet that was 17"x 10"x 1"). Spread the butter around the entire pan using a spatula.
- Place the bread dough in the center of the pan and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Spread the dough out (I just used my hands) to the edges of the pan. Pour the rest of the melted butter on top of the breadsticks and spread evenly using a spatula.
- Sprinkle your favorite seasonings on top. For this, anything goes - I use a combination of my favorite seasonings that I have in my pantry (garlic powder, oregano, thyme).
- Sprinkle your seasonings all over the butter, then top with some fresh shredded Parmesan.
- Using a pizza cutter, cut your dough into small breadsticks (doing this before they cook makes it so easy to cut up after they cook). I did rows of 3 x 12 and got 36 breadsticks. You can make these as long or short as you want.
- Stick these breadsticks in a preheated oven at 170 degrees and cook for about 8 minutes (they should rise about an inch during this time). Turn up your oven to 350 degrees (while your breadsticks are still in there - they will continue to bake while the oven preheats) and bake breadsticks for 12-15 more minutes or until they start to turn golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes, then follow the indentations using a pizza cutter to cut the breadsticks.
