I like to figure out restaurant recipes so I can make my favorites at home (we have a 20 month old girl need I say more!) This is a yummy version that makes great leftovers. Recipe #123659 makes two 9 by 13 deep dish pans or you can make 1 pizza and a small batch of breadsticks.

1 (16 ounce) bottle ragu pasta sauce (garlic alfredo)
3 cloves fresh minced garlic
3 cups cubed boneless skinless chicken breasts, uncooked
2 minced garlic cloves
4 diced roma tomatoes
1 cup chopped spring onion
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or 3 cups monterey jack cheese
2/3 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Make one batch homemade breadstick dough (this makes a yummy deep dish pizza) (recipe #123659). Spread dough out in 2 buttered 9 by 13 pans.
  • Mix alfredo with minced garlic divide and spread evenly over both pans.
  • Sauté chicken with garlic till lightly browned and spread over pizzas.
  • Sprinkle pizzas with onions, tomatoes, and cheeses.
  • Let rise 20 minutes.
  • Bake in 350° oven till cheese is melted and bubbly and crust edges are golden brown (approx 25 minutes depending on oven).

¼ teaspoon granulated garlic

1 green bell pepper, seeded and diced

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle; press Start.
  • Preheat oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C). Sprinkle a large pizza pan with cornmeal. Roll or pat dough out on a lightly floured surface until it is the diameter of the pizza pan; place on pan.
  • Spread dough with sauce, then sprinkle with garlic. Cover with cheese. On top of the pizza, arrange chicken, green pepper, onion and tomato.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until dough is baked, cheese is melted and toppings are lightly browned.

1 skinless, boneless chicken breast half
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
½ teaspoon dried basil
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup ricotta cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breast in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook until no longer pink, about 20 minutes. Drain and cool slightly, then cut into strips.
  • Meanwhile, in a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with garlic, onion and basil. Pour into a chilled dish to cool, and refrigerate until set.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough, place onto a pizza pan or other baking sheet, and spread the herb butter over the surface using the back of a spoon. Arrange chicken on top, then dot with ricotta cheese. Top with tomato slices, cilantro and Parmesan cheese.

3 to 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons quick-rise yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
GARLIC SAUCE/TOPPINGS:
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup julienned sweet red pepper
2 cups shredded pizza cheese blend

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine 3 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt. In a saucepan, heat the buttermilk, oil, butter, honey and vinegar to 120°-130°. Add to the dry ingredients; beat just until moistened. Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes., Press dough into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Prick with a fork. I experimented in the kitchen to create a pizza my husband loves. It doesn't use your traditional tomato based sauce. Instead, it uses a jar of alfredo sauce. We like to use garlic alfredo sauce. The garlic really makes the pizza. It may seem like a lot, but trust me, it's good. Buying already minced fresh garlic saves time and hastle. I prefer to use the pizza pans with holes in the bottom or else the crust can get a little soggy. The crust recipe uses a breadmaker but any pizza crust recipe will work. Using my breadmaker for the crust saves a lot of time- I used to make this weekly. We love it!

2 tablespoons warm water
1 1/2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

  • Meanwhile, spray frying pan with cooking spray. Saute chicken and 2-3 tablespoons minced garlic. Add 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and garlic powder to taste, if desired.
  • When dough cycle is completed, spray pizza pan with cooking spray and sprinkle cornmeal evenly over pan.
  • Press dough across pizza pan, leaving edges slightly elevated.
  • Mix remaining garlic with alredo sauce and spread over dough with rubber spatula. Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Sprinkle chicken mixture evenly over sauce.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Bake at 425 for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle tomatoes and green onions on top.
  • Bake an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before cutting.

¼ cup olive oil, divided, plus 3 1/2 tablespoons
2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided

1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 boneless, skinless chicken thigh
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
3 strips hickory smoked thick cut bacon
1 lb pizza dough
⅓ cup pizza sauce
1 ¼ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the garlic heads on a small sheet of aluminum foil. Drizzle 1½ tablespoons of olive oil over the garlic and season with ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper, then wrap tightly. Place the garlic on one side of the grill, close the lid, and roast for 35-40 minutes, until the cloves are tender and golden brown. Remove from the grill and let cool for 10 minutes, then unwrap the foil and squeeze the garlic cloves out of the skins.
