1 cup uncooked fine egg noodles
1 1/2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried whole thyme
1/8 teaspoon celery seed
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 bay leaf
2 carrots, diced
2 celery ribs, diced
1/4 cup minced onion
3 cups cooked chicken

Steps:

Transfer the ingredients from the bowl into a clean small jar. Decorate the jar anyway you wish.
For the gift tag: Combine this jar of mix and 8 cups of water in a large stockpot. Add two diced carrots, two stalks of diced celery, and a 1/4 cup minced onion.
Bring to a boil. Cover the soup and reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes. Discard the bay leaf. Stir in 3 Cups of diced leftover chicken and simmer an additional 5 minutes. Add salt if needed. Serve with crackers.

Chicken Noodle Soup Mix in a Jar Place following ingredients into an airtight jar: 1 cup uncooked fine egg noodles 1 1/2 tablespoons chicken-flavored bouillon 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon dried whole thyme 1/8 teaspoon celery seeds 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1 bay leaf Attach this recipe to the jar: Chicken Noodle Soup: Entire contents of soup mix from the jar 8 cups water 2 carrots, diced 2 stalks celery, diced 1/4 cup minced onion 3 cups cooked diced chicken Empty the soup mix from the jar and the water into a large stockpot. 1/3 cup chicken bouillon granule
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
1/2 cup shell macaroni, uncooked
2/3 cup pearl barley, uncooked
1/2 cup spinach pasta, uncooked and broken into small pieces
1/3 cup long-cooking long grain rice, uncooked
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

In a one-quart wide-mouth jar, layer the bouillon, onion, macaroni, barley, spinach pasta, and rice.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a small plastic bag and place on top of the layers.
Seal jar and attach instructions.
Instructions: pour all contents into a large pot filled with 12 cups water; bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
Add in 2 cups cooked cubed chicken; simmer 15 minutes.
