5 center-cut pork chops, 1-inch thick
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoons salt and pepper over both sides of the pork.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork and cook 3 minutes per side or until browned.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoons salt, broth and remaining ingredients; cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Uncover, simmer an additional 20 minutes or until tender. Serve pork with the sauce.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup dried garlic and herb rub with Cajun spices
2 pounds pork spare ribs
1/2 cup sesame seed teriyaki marinade
2 tablespoons honey
Hickory wood chips, soaked

Steps:

  • Pat olive oil and dry rub over the ribs making sure all the ribs are covered completely in the rub and let sit overnight, refrigerated, in a non-reactive container.
  • Combine the sesame teriyaki marinade and honey, mix well and using hands completely cover the ribs with mixture. Let stand for at least 1 hour.
  • Light gas grill and set on a low to medium flame, placing soaked hickory wood chips wrapped in foil over the flames. Slow roast the ribs turning occasionally for about 1 hour.
  • Remove when done and serve.

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, oil, ginger and garlic. Add pork; seal and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally., Drain and discard marinade. Place pork on a greased rack in a foil-lined shallow roasting pan. Combine the honey and brown sugar; spoon over pork. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. , Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20-25 minutes or until a thermometer reads 145°. 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons clear honey
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 onion, sliced thinly in rings
1 tablespoon seasoned plain flour
sunflower oil, to fry

Steps:

  • Trim fat from pork fillets and place them in a wide non-metallic dish.
  • Mix together the soy sauce, honey, garlic.
  • Spread this mixture over pork fillets, turning the meat to coat it evenly on both sides.
  • Lift the pork fillets into a roasting tin or a shallow ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the meat.
  • Roast the pork in an oven preheated at 400°F for about 20 minutes, spooning juice over fillets from time to time. Cover loosely with foil to prevent over-browning, and roast for 15 minutes more until meat is cooked thoroughly.

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce, such as Huy Fong, or sambal oelek
4 boneless pork chops (each about 3/4 inch thick; about 1 pound total)
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Vegetable oil, for grill and drizzling
12 ounces shishito peppers
1/2 small lemon
Flaky sea salt, such as Jacobsen
4 cups finely shredded green cabbage
Sesame-Ginger Sauce, for serving
Steamed rice, for serving

Steps:

  • Whisk together hoisin and chili-garlic sauce. Reserve 2 tablespoons mixture; transfer rest to a resealable bag. Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper; add to bag. Let stand, massaging occasionally, 15 minutes (or refrigerate up to 1 day).
  • Heat grill to medium-high. Brush grates with vegetable oil. Drizzle peppers with oil; season with salt and pepper. Spread in an even layer over grates and grill, turning once, until charred in places and just tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a platter, squeeze lemon over top, and season with flaky salt. Cover grill and return to high heat.
  • Remove pork from bag (discarding marinade) and grill, flipping once and brushing occasionally with reserved hoisin mixture, until charred in places and a thermometer inserted into thickest parts registers 140°F, 5 to 7 minutes total. 2 red peppers , deseeded and thinly sliced
cooked rice , to serve

  • Mix together 1 tbsp oil, the sesame seeds, soy sauce, mirin, chilli sauce and ginger. Pour over the pork and mix it all together. Heat the remaining oil in a large non-stick frying pan or wok. Add the pork and fry for 5 mins until browned. Add the peppers and spring onions, and cook for 5-10 mins more until the vegetables have softened and the pork is cooked through. Serve with cooked rice.
