Gluten-Free Fruit and Nut Snack Mix image

MultiGrain Cheerios™ cereal, almonds and dried cranberries make for a delicious snack to keep you going all day long.

7 cups MultiGrain Cheerios™ cereal
2 cups roasted salted whole almonds
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
1 package (5 oz) dried cranberries

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal and almonds.
  • In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter and honey uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until mixture comes to a full boil and butter is melted. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is well coated and looks glazed.
  • Stir in cranberries; mix well. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

2 cups Koala Crisp cereal
1 package (5 ounces) dried cherries
1/3 cup butter, cubed
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a large ungreased roasting pan, combine the popcorn, cereal and cherries. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add honey and cinnamon; cook and stir until heated through. Pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat. , Bake at 325° for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool completely. Store in airtight containers.
