Number Of Ingredients 11

8 ounces noodles (cooked and drained)
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna (can use 1 if desired)
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (drained)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (tossed with 1 tbsp melted butter)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook noodles as directed on package.
  • In one bowl combine onion, mushrooms and tuna, mix well.
  • In another bowl combine condensed soup, milk, mayonnaise and spices, wisk together until combined.
  • Pour the soup mix, noodles and tuna mix together and combine all very well.
  • Pour mixture into a 2 quart buttered baking dish, top with buttered breadcrumbs and bake on 350°F for about 30 minutes.

5 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 cup frozen peas
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) reduced-fat reduced-sodium condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup fat-free sour cream
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup 2% milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cans (5 ounces each) light tuna in water, drained and flaked
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
TOPPING:
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cook noodles according to package directions for al dente, adding peas during the last minute of cooking; drain., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, cheese, milk and salt; stir in tuna, onion and pepper. Add noodles and peas; toss to combine., Transfer to an 11x7-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. In a small bowl, toss bread crumbs with melted butter; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.

2 cups dry elbow macaroni
2 (5 ounce) cans albacore tuna, in water. Undrained
8 ounces sour cream
1 cup vegetables, we use frozen corn
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
garlic powder
cracker, if desired

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Cook pasta until al dente.
  • Combine tuna, sour cream, soup, veggies, and garlic in a pot and warm on stove top over low heat.
  • Combine tuna mixture with cooked, drained pasta and pour into a greased 9x12 pan.
  • Top with cheese and crackers and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Mmmm, good.

1/2 loaf day-old crusty bread or 2 crusty day-old rolls
1 to 1 1/4 pounds tuna steaks, 1-inch thick -- 2 big steaks
1 cup white wine
Water
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon peppercorns
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil -- 1 turn of the pan
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 large shallots, chopped
16 small button mushrooms, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme or poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
1 cup baby frozen peas
1 pound extra-wide egg noodles, cooked to al dente or 12 ounces, 1 box, egg fettuccini
Chopped fresh parsley leaves, to garnish

Steps:

  • Place bread in warm oven, 250 degrees F, to dry and toast, 20 minutes.
  • Place tuna in a skillet and add wine, then water -- just enough to cover fish. Add bay leaf and peppercorns. Bring liquids to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cover skillet. Poach fish for 12 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add oil, 1 turn of the pan, and 2 tablespoons butter--reserve remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Add shallots and mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Saute gently for 5 minutes. Sprinkle in ground thyme or poultry seasoning and flour and cook flour 1 minute, stirring with whisk. Whisk in stock, then cream. Adjust seasonings. Add peas.
  • Remove cooked, poached tuna to a bowl and flake fish with a fork.
  • Add cooked noodles and tuna to sauce. Remove sauce from heat and transfer mixture to a casserole or serving dish.
  • Use the widest cutting edge on a box grater to grate the bread into large crumbs. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in a small cup in microwave and pour melted butter over bread, Scatter buttery bread crumbs and parsley over the top of the casserole. Serve immediately.

Steps:

  • Cook pasta and drain.

  • Set aside 1 cup of the Cheddar for topping.

  • Start a pot of water boiling and add the egg noodles when it comes to a boil. Then reduce heat to med-high, or a temperature that will keep the noodles simmering. Stir occasionally.
  • While noodles are cooking, heat a skillet to med-high heat. When hot, add the olive oil and butter. Then add the onion and celery. Cook until vegetables are soft and translucent.
  • Turn heat to low and add the garlic, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook 20 seconds. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  • While vegetables are cooking, check on the noodles so they don’t overcook. When they are just a little softer than al dente, take off heat, drain, and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
