These apples are baked in a sea of cinnamon and brown sugar and are a perfect treat on a cold evening.

9 apples, cored
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • Place cored apples into a baking dish. Pour water into the baking dish. Pack brown sugar into the apples. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1-1/2 cups vegetable or canola oil
2 cups sugar
3 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
3 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°. Line bottom of a 10-in. springform pan or a 13x9-in. baking pan with parchment; grease parchment. In a bowl, whisk together flour and next 5 ingredients. In a large bowl, beat oil, sugar and eggs until pale and slightly thick, about 2 minutes. Beat in vanilla and lemon juice. Add dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Fold in apples and walnuts (batter will be thick). , Transfer to prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 55- 60 minutes. Cool cake in pan on rack. , For glaze, mix confectioners' sugar and lemon juice; drizzle over cake.

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup 2% milk
3 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
2 cups boiling water
Vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, mix the first five ingredients. Add milk; stir just until blended. Fold in apples. Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt. deep baking dish. Dot with butter., Pour boiling water over top. Bake, uncovered, 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. If desired, serve with ice cream.

½ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1-1/4 cups uncooked brown rice
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2-1/2 cups chunky applesauce
1 cup diced peeled apples
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1-3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided

Steps:

  • Cook rice according to package directions. Stir 2 tablespoons butter into hot rice. Add applesauce, apples, brown sugar, 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon and salt. 4 large red apples cord (not peeled)
1 stick of butter (softend devide into 4 = parts)
8tbs sugar (seprate into 2tbs parts=4)
2tps cinnamon (seperate into 1/2tps parts=4)

Steps:

  • 1. Core apples leave peel on the apple, place in pie pan or small cake pan.
  • 2. Take one part butter, one part sugar, and one part cinnamon and roll together making plug size for cored apple.
  • 3. Place plug into apple and bake in 350 degree pre-heated oven for 25 t0 30 min/s peeling should look cracked and a little darker red, may serve as is, with Ice cream, or float in a dish of heavy cream.

Pastry for a double-crust pie (9 inches)
6 to 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 2-1/2 pounds)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter
2% milk
Additional sugar

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. pie plate with bottom crust; trim crust even with edge of plate. Set aside. , In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Arrange half of the apples in pastry shell; sprinkle with half of the sugar mixture. Repeat layers. Dot with butter. , Roll out remaining pastry to fit top of pie; place over filling. 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
½ cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¼ cup water
½ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
  • Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
  • Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
