- You will also need: 1 gallon container or jug, with a screw on lid.
- About 9am, fill your pitcher with the water, and tea bags.
- The reason for the screw on top, is so that ants don't get to the tea.
- Let the tea sit in the sun for most of the day, a prime full sun location is best.
- When bringing the tea in, boil one cup, and then mix it with the sugar (but, in the summer, the heat from outside can be enough to dissolve the sugar).
- Boiling the cup of tea only helps to make dissolving the sugar easier.
- Combine the sugar, tea, and more water to make one gallon.
- Serve with thick 1 1/2" wedges of lemon.
- It usually takes 4-6 hours of being in the sun, in order to steep.
- You can eye ball the tea, and bring it in, after the tea looks dark enough.
- Since the tea is best served cold, put it in the fridge right away.
- It does not last as long as boiled tea for some reason.
- And I usually leave the tea bags in the jug until the tea is gone.
- Then, I take the tea bags and sprinkle them in my flower garden, or over my roses.

- Step 1 Fill the glass container about a quarter full with warm Water and add ¾ Cup Honey. Swirl the water around to mix in the honey, as it dilutes, more Water should be added until honey is no longer visible on the bottom of the glass container. Step 2 10 to 12 Tzao Zen Tea Bags or an equal amount of Loose Leaf Tea submerged inside the container. The vessel is topped of with Water, lid secured and placed outside in direct sunlight for 3 hours. Step 3 Pour the tea and add juice of 1 Lemon and 2 Limes through the sieve and into the second glass container. Stir everything together and refrigerate. Step 4 Once the tea is cool enjoy.

- Using a gallon sized jar, place your tea bags inside, then fill to the top with cold water.
- Place jar outside in the warm sun.
- If you want to make a smaller amount, in a smaller jar, that's good too! Just reduce the number of teabags.
- I determine when my tea is done, but the color. I like a rich strong tea, so I wait until it's a deep amber.
- Once it's reached the color and boldness you want, bring it back inside and add the sugar. Of course, you can omit the sugar if you want unsweetened tea.
- Serve over a tall glass of ice.
- Enjoy!
