These Chipotle Honey Chicken Skewers are perfect for summer grilling. These kabobs are good for meal prep, freezer friendly and can be made ahead of time.

3 Large Chicken Breasts
3 Tbsp Honey
3 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Lime Juice
1 Tsp Dried Chipotle Powder
1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper

Steps:

  • Chop your chicken breasts into 1-2 inch cubes and add into a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl combine the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Add over the top of the cubed chicken and toss until all the chicken is well coated. Cover and let marinade for at least 20 minutes.
  • Once the chicken has marinated, spray metal skewers and add the chicken on one at a time until gone.
  • Spray an outdoor grill with cooking spray and heat to medium-high heat. Once the grill is hot add the chicken kabobs to the grill and cook 3 minutes per side until charred and internal temp reads 165 degrees.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through remove from the grill and place on a clean cookie sheet. Remove from the skewers and serve warm sprinkle with lime juice and fresh parsley or cilantro. Enjoy!

With just four ingredients, you can make one killer of a grilled dinner. These Spicy Chipotle Honey Chicken Kebabs are bursting with spicy-sweet flavor!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons TABASCO Chipotle Sauce
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Cut chicken into 1 1/2″ chunks, removing any gristle or large pieces of fat.
  • Combine honey, olive oil, and Chipotle Tabasco in a small mixing bowl. Season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Place chicken and all but 1/4 cup of the marinade into a ziploc bag. Shake, jiggle, and massage the bag around gently to cover the chicken in the marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or up to overnight. Reserve remaining 1/4 cup marinade.
  • Preheat grill over medium heat. Divide chicken between 8 skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to avoid them burning on the grill.
  • Grill kebabs, turning once or twice, until the chicken is cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Transfer chicken kebabs to a serving platter and brush with the reserved 1/4 cup of marinade.
  • Serve with rice and some grilled vegetables for one heck of a meal.

Honey chicken kabobs with veggies. You can marinate overnight and make these kabobs for an outdoor barbecue as a tasty alternative to the usual barbecue fare! Fresh mushrooms and cherry tomatoes can also be used. (This can also be done in the broiler.)

¼ cup vegetable oil
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup soy sauce
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
2 cloves garlic
5 small onions, cut into 2 inch pieces
2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
skewers

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together oil, honey, soy sauce, and pepper. Before adding chicken, reserve a small amount of marinade to brush onto kabobs while cooking. Place the chicken, garlic, onions and peppers in the bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours (the longer the better).
  • Preheat the grill for high heat.
  • Drain marinade from the chicken and vegetables, and discard marinade. Thread chicken and vegetables alternately onto the skewers.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, until chicken juices run clear. Turn and brush with reserved marinade frequently.

6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
8 medium kiwifruit, peeled and halved
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon minced chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Lime juice, optional
Hot cooked rice, optional

Steps:

  • Combine garlic, lime juice, oil and salt. Add chicken and kiwi; turn to coat. Refrigerate, covered, up to 30 minutes., Mix honey and chipotle peppers. Drain chicken and kiwi, discarding marinade. On 8 metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread chicken and kiwi. , Grill, covered, on an oiled rack over medium heat, turning occasionally, until juices run clear, 10-12 minutes. During last 4 minutes, baste frequently with honey-chipotle mixture., Serve with fresh lime juice and rice if desired.

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, chopped
⅓ cup honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • Preheat a grill for medium heat.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, and cook until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in honey and lemon juice. Reserve half for basting, and brush the other half onto the chicken breasts.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate, and place chicken on the grill. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side, turning frequently. Baste often during the last 5 minutes. Chicken is done when the meat is firm, and juices run clear.
