1 tablespoon Tasty McCormick Fiery Seasoning
lime wedge
fresh cilantro, minced, for garnish
2 lb chicken wings
olive oil
1 ½ tablespoons Tasty McCormick Zesty Seasoning
lemon wedge
fresh basil, for garnish
2 lb chicken wings
olive oil
1 tablespoon Tasty McCormick Jazzy Seasoning
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
2 lb chicken wings
olive oil
1 ½ tablespoons Tasty McCormick Savory Seasoning, plus 2 teaspoons, divided
4 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Fiery
  • Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with Tasty McCormick Fiery Seasoning.
  • Heat grill to high heat. Place wings on the grill and close lid. Grill for 8-10 minutes, then flip and grill for another 8-10 minutes (with the lid closed), or until wings are fully cooked through.
  • Remove wings from grill. Squeeze with lime wedges and garnish with minced cilantro.
  • Zesty
  • Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with Tasty McCormick Zesty Seasoning.
  • Heat grill to high heat. Place wings on the grill and close lid. Grill for 8-10 minutes, then flip and grill for another 8-10 minutes (with the lid closed), or until wings are fully cooked through.
  • Remove wings from grill. Squeeze with lemon wedges and garnish with basil leaves.
  • Jazzy
  • Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with Tasty McCormick Jazzy Seasoning.
  • Heat grill to high heat. Place wings on the grill and close lid. Grill for 8-10 minutes, then flip and grill for another 8-10 minutes (with the lid closed), or until wings are fully cooked through. Remove wings from grill and set aside.
  • In a small pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add honey, apple cider vinegar, and salt and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat.
  • Drizzle grilled wings with honey butter.
  • Savory
  • Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with 1½ tablespoons Tasty McCormick Savory Seasoning.
  • Heat grill to high heat. Place wings on the grill and close lid. Grill for 8-10 minutes, then flip and grill for another 8-10 minutes (with the lid closed), or until wings are fully cooked through. Remove wings from grill and set aside.
  • In a small pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add 2 teaspoons Tasty McCormick Savory Seasoning. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.
  • Drizzle grilled wings with herb butter.
  • Enjoy!

Here's what you need: chicken wings, buttermilk, lard, flour, cayenne powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper

3 lb chicken wings
4 cups buttermilk
½ cup lard
1 cup flour
½ cup cayenne powder
6 tablespoons onion powder, or dried minced onion
6 tablespoons garlic powder, or dried minced garlic
6 tablespoons paprika
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all master spice mix ingredients and separate into three equal portions.
  • In a large bowl combine chicken wings, ⅓ master spice mix, the buttermilk. Cover and chill for as long as possible (4 hours to overnight).
  • Rinse the brined wing pieces and pat dry.
  • Mix the flour with another ⅓ of the master spice mix.
  • Dredge the chicken wing pieces in the flour/spice mixture. Shake off any excess. Set aside.
  • Heat your oil to 325˚F (170˚C).
  • Fry the wings for 8-10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165˚F (74˚C). The wings will splatter so its a good idea to have a lid nearby!
  • Take the wings out and drain on a paper bag or paper towels.
  • Place the lard in a saucepan and sprinkle over the last ⅓ of your master spice mix. Once the lard is melted and warm, stir the mixture, and take it off the heat. Immediately baste your fried wings with the lard/spice mix and serve right away!

The best buffalo wings are a perfect mix of crispy, tender, and saucy, and this recipe does it all. After coating the wings in cornstarch, you cover them in a spicy, flavorful batter before quickly frying them for 8-10 minutes. All that's left is mixing them in a bowl with your favorite buffalo sauce and plating them with all the fixings -celery sticks, ranch, blue cheese dip. It doesn't really matter, because these juicy, crunchy wings will be the true game night stars no matter what!

¾ cup cornstarch, divided
2 lb chicken wings, rinsed and patted dry
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
⅔ cup water
peanut or vegetable oil, for frying
½ cup buffalo sauce
ranch or blue cheese dip, for serving
1 stalk celery sticks, for serving, cut into sticks

Steps:

  • In a bowl, toss ¼ cup (30 grams) of cornstarch and the chicken wings together until fully coated. Transfer the wings to a wire rack and let rest and dry out for 20 minutes, ideally in the fridge if you have space.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining ½ cup of cornstarch, the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in the water, breaking up any lumps and mixing until smooth. The batter should be slightly runny.
  • Heat the oil in a large pot until it reaches 350°F (180°C).
  • Coat chicken wings in the batter, shaking off any excess. Add the wings to the oil in batches, cooking for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Transfer the chicken wings wot a wire rack set over a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
  • Transfer the chicken to a clean bowl and drizzle with with the buffalo sauce, tossing to coat. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with either ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
