HAWAIIAN DELIGHT DESSERT
This is a very light dessert & it's great for parties --Great for those big barbecues! Its kinda like a Jello dessert--there's always room for this!

Steps:
- FOR CRUST: Combine crumbs and butter in medium bowl; mix well.
- Press crumb mixture onto bottom of 12x8-inch baking dish.
- FOR FILLING: Prepare pudding mix in large bowl according to package directions using 3 cups milk.
- Stir in coconut and rum extract.
- Arrange banana slices over crust.
- Spoon pudding mixture over bananas to cover completely.
- In medium bowl, combine pineapple and whipped topping; spread over pudding mixture.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours before serving.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle. , On a heavily floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 4-in. heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired., Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks. While cookies are still warm, poke two holes into each cookie with a straw. When cookies are completely cooled, thread ribbon through holes and tie into a bow; trim ribbon if necessary.

Steps:
- Beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition. Add nuts; mix well.
- Shape dough into ball; flatten into disc. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into shapes using 2-inch pineapple-shaped or round cookie cutter. Place, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets. Refrigerate 30 min.
- Heat oven to 350ºF. Bake cutouts 8 to 10 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled cookies.

- Cream shortening until light. Sift flour and measure. Sift flour with salt, sugar, and baking powder into shortening. Add punch and flavorings. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Bake in two 9-inch greased and floured layer pans at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until tests done.
- Make filling of pineapple, coconut, margarine, and cherries. Add powdered sugar for spreading consistency. Add pecans.
- Put cooled layers together with filling. Ice with a 7-minute icing. Sprinkle generously with coconut.

- Mix cake batter according to package directions. Pour into two greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pans. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until the cakes test done.
