We had some amazing honeydew juice at a Mexican restaurant and immediately tried to recreate it. We think this is even better than the original!

1 cup water
3 tablespoons white sugar

Steps:

  • Scrape flesh from honeydew melon quarters into a blender; add ice cubes, water, and sugar. Blend until smooth and sugar has dissolved. Serve immediately.

1 large honeydew melon, seeds and rind removed, cut into large chunks
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
6 mint leaves
1/4 cup superfine sugar
1/2 cup vodka, (optional)
1 cup crushed ice

Steps:

  • Place melon, lime juice, mint, sugar, and vodka in a bar blender. Blend until smooth, about 45 seconds. Pour through a cheesecloth-lined strainer into a pitcher.
  • Place ice in 12-ounce glasses; pour liquid over ice. Swizzle and serve.
