¼ cup butter
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 whole chicken, cut up

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, mix the butter, lemon juice, cider vinegar, garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper. Cook and stir until butter is melted.
  • Arrange chicken pieces in the prepared baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the chicken.
  • Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Turn chicken pieces, and continue baking 30 minutes, or until chicken juices run clear.

1 medium onion, chopped
1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 pounds), cut up, skin removed
2/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons cold water

Steps:

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine onion and garlic; top with chicken. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper and pepper sauce; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low until juices run clear, 4-5 hours. Remove chicken to a serving platter; keep warm. , Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 2 minutes. Serve with chicken.

  • Wash, and dry chicken quarters with paper towels and place in large slow cooker.
  • In a large saucepan, combine butter, 57 sauce, and stewed tomatoes. Heat just until butter melts, and ingredients mix well. Pour over chicken.
  • Cover aand cook on low for 5-6 hours.

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Steps:

  • In a small bowl combine all ingredients except chicken and blend well.
  • Coat a medium skillet with cooking spray or 1 tbs oil and bring to medium heat. Lighlty brown chicken on both sides, cover with sauce mixture. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 25 or until fully cooked. Turn chicken once while cooking.

1 cup ketchup
½ cup water
⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup butter, melted
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 dash steak sauce (such as A.1.®)
3 pounds skinless chicken thighs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Whisk ketchup, water, vinegar, butter, onion, paprika, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and steak sauce together in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, for flavors to blend.
  • Spread chicken thighs in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken thighs.
  • Bake chicken in the preheated oven until thighs are cooked through and sauce is bubbling, about 2 hours. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a thigh should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
