Ingredients

2 lb. de ejotes (habichuelas verdes) frescos, recortados, cortados por la mitad a lo ancho
1 (8 oz) de queso crema PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, ablandado
1/2 taza de leche
1/4 de pimienta negra
2 clavos de ajo, bien picados, cantidad dividida
1/4 taza de pan molido estilo panko
2 de mantequilla, derretida

Steps:

Calienta el horno a 350ºF.
Cocina los ejotes en agua hirviendo durante 3 min. Mientras tanto, mezcla bien con un batidor de varillas el queso crema, la leche, la pimienta y mitad del ajo en un tazón grande.
Escurre los ejotes. Agrégalos a la mezcla de queso crema y mezcla todo ligeramente. Colócalos en un molde con capacidad para 2 litros rociado con aceite en aerosol.
Combina los ingredientes restantes con el ajo restante; espolvoréalos sobre la mezcla de ejotes.
Hornea el platillo 30 min. o hasta que los ejotes estén blandos y la cobertura se vea dorada.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup milk
2 cups cooked and diced string beans
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Steps:

In a medium-size bowl, mix the 1 tablespoon of olive oil, vinegar and mustard. In another bowl combine the egg, flour, salt and pepper. Add the vinaigrette. While beating, add the milk, a little at a time. Add the string beans. Heat the oil in a medium-size skillet, over a medium heat. Place the tortitas de ejotes, in patties 2 inches in diameter, in the skillet. Cook them until golden brown on both sides. Serve at once.
