Here's what you need: heavy cream, condensed milk, cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate chips, marshmallow, popsicle sticks

½ cup heavy cream
¾ cup condensed milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup marshmallow, bits
20 popsicle sticks

Steps:

  • In a saucepan set over medium heat, warm the heavy cream, condensed milk and cocoa powder, and bring to a simmer.
  • Place chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl, and pour on top the top cream mixture. Allow to stand for 1 minute before stirring to combine, until thick and smooth.
  • Using a cookie scoop, spoon the mixture into a silicone mini muffin pan. Use a butter knife to smooth the tops as needed.
  • Garnish the tops with the marshmallows. Insert a popsicle stick into the middle of each.
  • Freeze for 2 hours, or refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • To serve, dissolve a stick into a mug of hot milk.
  • Enjoy!

1 cup whole milk, or milk of choice
3 ½ oz dark chocolate, plus more for topping
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 dried chiles de arbol
1 cinnamon stick, toasted
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cajeta
3 tablespoons marshmallow fluff

Steps:

  • Roughly chop the chocolate.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the milk, chocolate, brown sugar, chiles, and cinnamon stick. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and well combined, 10-12 minutes.
  • Drizzle the cajeta around the rim of an oven-safe mug, letting a little bit drip down the outside.
  • Carefully strain the hot chocolate through a fine-mesh sieve into the mug. Stir in the vanilla. Spoon the marshmallow fluff on top.
  • Using a hard torch, carefully toast the top of the marshmallow fluff until golden brown. Shave more chocolate on top, if desired.
  • Serve immediately.
