1 ounce brandy
2/3 ounce (4 teaspoons) Triple Sec
1-1/2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice
GARNISH:
Lemon twist

Steps:

Fill a shaker three-fourths full with ice. Add the brandy, triple sec and lemon juice. Cover and shake for 15-20 seconds or , until condensation forms on outside of shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish as desired.

2 fluid ounces Cognac
1 fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
½ fluid ounce lemon juice
1 cup ice cubes

Steps:

Sprinkle sugar on a small plate. Lightly wet half the rim of of a coupe glass with a damp paper towel. Dip the moistened rim in sugar to coat. Set the glass in the refrigerator to chill.
Combine Cognac, orange-flavored liqueur, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, cover, and shake until chilled. Strain into the chilled, sugar-rimmed coupe.

Steps:

Fill a cocktail shaker 3/4 full with ice cubes. Pour in lemon juice, Cointreau, and brandy. Cover and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes cold and frosty. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a wedge of lemon.

50ml cognac
25ml triple sec
25ml lemon juice
handful of ice
dash of Angostura bitters (optional)

Steps:

Put a coupe glass in the fridge to chill. Tip all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Shake well, until the outside of the shaker feels cold, then strain the cocktail into the chilled glass. If the lemon juice is too sharp, add the bitters to taste.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons superfine sugar
1 lemon wedge
3 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) Cognac
2 tablespoons (1 ounce) Cointreau or other Triple Sec orange liqueur
1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) fresh lemon juice
1 cup ice

Steps:

Spread superfine sugar on small plate. Rub lemon wedge halfway around rim of chilled martini or coupe glass. Dip moistened side of glass in sugar to lightly coat outside rim of glass. Set aside.
In cocktail shaker, combine Cognac, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Add ice and shake vigorously until well chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into prepared martini or coupe glass and serve.
