PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 can (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce
2 tablespoons firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 pound ground sirloin beef (90% lean)
1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt's® Diced Tomatoes with Sweet Onion, drained
1 cup dry unseasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line shallow baking pan with aluminum foil; spray foil with cooking spray. Mix tomato sauce and brown sugar in small bowl; set aside.
  • Combine meat, drained tomatoes, bread crumbs and eggs in medium bowl. Shape meat mixture into a loaf shape in pan.
  • Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven; pour tomato sauce mixture over meatloaf. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake 25 to 30 minutes more or until meatloaf is cooked through (160°F). Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into 6 slices.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped celery
¼ cup finely chopped green pepper
1 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
1 cup soft, fresh breadcrumbs
1 large egg, slightly beaten
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Heat oil in a skillet set over medium-high heat. Cook onion, celery and pepper until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in ketchup. Remove pan from heat and divide sauce mixture in half.
  • Combine one half of the sauce with ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Mix gently. Pat mixture into a lightly greased 9-x 5-in (2 L) loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until an instant read thermometer reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  • Rest for 5 minutes. Reheat the reserved sauce mixture. Slice meat loaf and serve with sauce.

1 can (15.25 oz) Hunts family favorites seasoned tomato sauce for meatloaf
2 lbs 93% lean ground beef
2 large eggs, beaten
1 c. quick cooking oats, dry bread crumbs or crushed crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat ove to 400 degrees
  • combine 1/2 can of the hunts sauce with the rest of the ingredients
  • Bake uncovered, 1 hour.
  • Remove from oven and drain.
  • Top meatloaf with remaining sauce
  • Bake an additional 10 minutes
  • Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving
  • Serves 8
