INDIAN BORAGE HERBAL TEA image

A healthy drink tastes pleasantly sweet with a mild herbal taste. It's very soothing to the throat too.

Number Of Ingredients 3

12 Fresh Indian Borage leaves
5 Honey dates x 5
6 cups (1.5 L)Water

Steps:

  • Step 1 Fill pot with 1.5 L of filtered water. Add Indian Borage leaves and honey dates.Step 2 Bring to a boil and let it simmer until the water reduce to 1 L. It should take about 45 minutes.Step 3 Remove from heat and pour tea into a glass jar through a strainer.Step 4 Serve hot or chilled.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/4 cup borage, flowers and young leaves chopped
4 slices bread, with crusts removed

Steps:

  • Combine first 2 ingredients in a bowl, spread 1/4 on each slice of bread.
  • Cut each slice diagonally into quarters, forming four triangles per slice.
  • Serve open-faced.
