GOLDEN M&M'S BARS

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Bear in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chips and 1 cup of M&M's. , Spoon into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan; spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle with the remaining M&M's. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

MACAROON MADNESS BARS
Easy to make with a shortbread crust and a butterscotch coconut filling these please kids and adults alike.

Steps:
- Prepare Crust: Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Grease 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch metal baking pan.
- Line pan with foil; grease foil.
- With fingertips, mix flour, brown sugar, and margarine or butter in prepared pan until soft dough forms.
- Press dough firmly onto bottom of pan.
- Bake Crust 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, prepare Pecan-Butterscotch Filling: In large bowl, with wire whisk or fork, beat eggs with brown sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt just until blended.
- Stir in pecans, coconut, and butterscotch chips.
- Pour filling over warm Crust.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned around the edges and filling is set.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight for easier cutting.
- When cold, transfer with foil to cutting board.
- Cut into 8 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 8 squares.

- Grease and line a deep 27X33cm baking dish.
- Combine first five ingredients in a large pan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Boil, then immediately simmer uncovered for 5 minute Transfer to a large bowl and cool.
- Add sifted flour and eggs, and beat with electric mixer until smooth. Pour int dish.
- Bake in mod (160c ff) oven for 50 minute Cool for 10 min then turn onto rack.
- Frosting: combine butter water and sugar in small pan, stir over heat without boiling until sugar dissolves. Sift icing sugar and cocoa into medium bowl. Stir in hot butter mixture in batches. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hours Beat until spreadable.
BIG CHEWY M&M CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
I found this recipe on a site called bakeorbreak.com when I was looking for a recipe to use up a bag of M&M's in something for my daughter's Fall Festival. They turned out really good, and the leftovers stayed moist for about four days. They might last longer, but ours disappeared pretty quickly.

- Preheat oven to 325°. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners. (I skipped lining my trays).
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat until combined.
- Reduce mixer speed to low. Gradually add flour mixture, and mix just until combined.
- Stir in M&Ms.
- Roll dough into 1.5" balls. (Or, use a cookie scoop).
- Place onto prepared pans, leaving about 2 inches between cookies. (They REALLY spread).
- Bake, one pan at a time, for 15-20 minutes, or until edges are beginning to brown and the centers are still soft. Cook time is per pan.
- Cool on pans for about 10 minutes. Serve warm or transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

- In a large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla.
- Beat in eggs.
- Add flour and baking soda, and mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and half the M&M candies. Mix well.
- Pour into a greased 9x13" baking pan.
- Top with remaining M&M candies.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool, then cut with a sharp knife.
