1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
¼ cup of orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cloves
¼ cup walnuts or pecans

Steps:

  • Drain the excess liquid from the cranberry sauce cans and place in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, constantly stirring for about five minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately or allow to cool if you'd like it to be more solidified.

14 ounce can jellied cranberry sauce
1 apple (peeled and diced)
1 tbsp butter
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup dried cranberries
1 cup boiling water

Steps:

  • Peel, core, and dice the apple.
  • Place whole dried cranberries in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Set aside and let it sit.
  • Melt butter in a medium-size saucepan over low to medium heat.
  • Saute the apple with cinnamon for a minute.
  • Add brown sugar and heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Add cranberry jelly to the apples and mix thoroughly.
  • Drain reconstituted cranberries and add to the cranberry sauce.
  • Mix in and remove from stove. Serve warm or chilled.

2 (14-ounce) cans jellied cranberry sauce
2 tangerines, oranges or blood oranges, peeled and sliced into rounds, seeds removed
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 lemon, halved crosswise
Flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup mint or parsley leaves (optional)

Steps:

  • Open the cans of jellied cranberries and slice the cylinders into 1/2-inch-thick rounds.
  • Scatter the rounds on a large platter, and top with citrus slices and a little thinly sliced red onion. Squeeze lemon juice over everything, and sprinkle with flaky salt, black pepper and mint, if using.
