2 teaspoons rosemary
2 teaspoon parsley
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 teaspoons Parmesan cheese
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 head garlic, peeled and chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375° Blend spices and Parmesan cheese in a food processor until finely chopped. Add to olive oil. Lay chopped garlic on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast garlic for 10 minutes and stir. Roast for another 10 minutes until garlic is golden and crispy, but not burned. Serve roasted garlic in a shallow bowl for dipping. Add oil as desired when ready to eat. NOTE I mixed dried herbs, roasted garlic and oil together without the parmesan cheese. I did this so the herbs, garlic and olive oil would infuse and will add the cheese when ready to use.

1 head Garlic (peeled and chopped fine)
2 teaspoons fresh or dried Rosemary
2 teaspoons fresh or dried Parsley
2 teaspoons fresh or dried Oregano
1 teaspoons crushed Red Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper (to taste)
4 teaspoons grated Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Lay chopped garlic on a baking sheet line with parchment paper.
  • Place sheet in preheated oven. Roast garlic for 10 minutes and stir. Roast for another 10 minutes until garlic is golden and crispy, but not burned.
  • Remove from oven. Set aside to cool.
  • Place rosemary, parsley, oregano, red pepper, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
  • Add spice mixture to olive oil.
  • Place a teaspoon or more of the roasted garlic in a shallow bowl.
  • Using a long teaspoon, spoon out some of the spices and cheese mixture from the oil. Add to bowl.
  • Pour in oil as desired when ready to eat.

2 teaspoons chopped fresh garlic
1/2 cup Italian sausage, Cooked and Sliced 1/4-inch
1/2 cup ham, Diced
1/2 cup bacon, Chopped 1/4-inch
1/4 cup pepperoni, Chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper, Diced 1/2-inch
1/4 cup yellow onion, Diced 1/2-inch
salt and pepper
20 ounces pasta sauce with meat
20 ounces bow tie pasta, Dry
1/4 cup asiago cheese, Shredded
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, Shredded

Steps:

  • Grill Italian sausage until done. Cool and slice into 1/4" pieces.
  • Add olive oil to a large sauté pan at medium heat. Once oil is heated, add garlic, sausage, ham, bacon, pepperoni, green bell peppers, yellow onions, salt and pepper. Sauté until bacon is cooked, peppers and onions are soft.
  • Add meat sauce to sauté pan.
  • Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Drain excess water and then toss pasta with contents of sauté pan.
  • Place Five Meat Tuscan Pasta into designated serving plate ware, garnish with Asiago and Parmesan cheeses and enjoy!

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS (for each batch):
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup olive oil
1 French bread baguette (10-1/2 ounces)

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. Yield: 3 batches (1/4 cup total)., To prepare dipping oil: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine 4 teaspoons herb mix with water. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 10-15 seconds. Drain excess water. Transfer to a shallow serving plate; add 1/2 cup oil and stir. Serve with bread.
