Keto Fried Mozzarella Bites image

Prepare these cheesy keto-friendly snacks in a few minutes and enjoy the rich flavour of the coconut-almond mixture; it is low in carbs and perfect for meal prepping.

2/3 cup mozzarella
1 egg (beaten)
1 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup almond flour
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/3 tsp Onion powder
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Olive Oil (for frying)

Steps:

  • Cut mozzarella into small pieces.
  • In a small bowl combine the egg with cream cheese until fully incorporated.
  • Mix almond flour, coconut flour, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and white onion powder in another bowl.
  • Coat each mozzarella cube into egg mixture then in flour mixture.
  • In a pan heat olive oil just enough to cover cheese cubes.
  • Fry them until they turn golden.
