KIM'S KICKED UP BAKED BEANS
I needed to bring a side dish to a football party, so I decided to make some kind of "kicked up" baked beans for the first time. I walked into my pantry and picked some ingredients that I thought would taste good together and voila! Kim's Kicked Up Baked Beans were born! For my first time outta the gate making these, they turned...

Steps:
- 1. Brown and crumble sausage while cooking.
- 2. In a separate skillet, saute onions and green peppers until semi-tender.
- 3. While sausage and veggies are cooking/sauteing, pour cans of beans into a deep baking dish. Add the ground mustard, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and ground red pepper to beans and stir around to incorporate spices.
- 4. Once sausage and veggie mixture are cooked, add both to beans and stir around to evenly distribute & incorporate sausage/veggie mixture into and throughout beans.
- 5. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1.5 hours.
- 6. Enjoy!
BETTER BAKED BEANS
Tangy, sweet old fashioned baked beans, are made the easy way in this side dish. This is my grandma's favorite semi home-made recipe. She makes it every Thanksgiving, and we usually end up scraping the pan clean! Never any leftovers!

BAKED BEANS WITH A KICK
Found online, these baked beans are really simple to make, and have a lovely balance of flavors. The bacon adds texture and a savoury sweet deliciousness. Since these beans are cooked uncovered, everything gets caramelized and the beans are not mush. Since every oven is different, check your beans at an hour and a half.
