This 7 layered dip recipe with refried beans and seasoned sour cream is a filling party dip perfect for any night of the week. Layers of refried beans, cheese, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and black olives make perfect choices. Pile on the pico and lets get dipping into this taco dip!

Ingredients

16 oz. refried beans
16 oz sour cream
16 oz salsa
4 oz. sliced black olives
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheese
1 packet taco seasoning
tortilla chips

Steps:

Spread heated and smooth refried beans onto a large serving platter or in a transparent glass pie plate. The size of the platter will be the size of your dip, so if you choose to use a large platter, just make sure you use more than one can so the dip is deep enough in thickness.
Mix 16 oz tub of sour cream and taco seasoning together in a small bowl.
Using a spatula, carefully spread sour cream on top of the refried beans.
Add medium or mild salsa on top of the sour cream mixture, carefully keeping the salsa inside the sour cream ring for presentation.
Finally, top taco dip with lettuce, cheese, black olives, fresh tomatoes, and/or diced avocado.
Cover and Refrigerate dip until ready to serve.
Serve with crunchy tortilla chips.

1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.
Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
Top the layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions and lettuce over the salsa, and top with Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives.

3 (16 ounce) cans vegetarian refried beans
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
½ cup salsa
½ head iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried, and chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
¾ cup chopped black olives
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

Place the beans in the bottom of one 9x13 inch clear glass dish.
In a medium bowl combine the sour cream with the taco seasoning. Spread mixture over the beans. Spread the salsa over the top of the sour cream. Top the sour cream with a layer of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and olives. Sprinkle cheese over the top and serve.

1 (30 ounce) can refried beans
3 ripe avocados
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon good quality garlic salt
3 -4 drops Tabasco sauce
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise, plus
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix (or use my homemade taco seasoning mix)
10 -12 green onions, chopped
3 large tomatoes, chopped
2 -3 cups black olives, sliced
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
corn chips or tortilla chips

Steps:

In a large serving bowl, spread the refried beans.
Peel and pit and mash the avocados.
Mix together the fresh lemon juice, garlic salt and tabasco.
Mix with the mashed avocados to combine well, and spread over/on top the beans.
In a bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoing mix, spread over the avocado layer.
Sprinkle with green onions, chopped tomatoes, olives and cheddar cheese.
Serve with tortilla and/or corn chips.
DELICIOUS!
