I don't often drink alcoholic beverages because I don't like the taste of most. However, I do sometimes enjoy a cocktail on a hot day, in the form of Margaritas, Mojitos and Piña Coladas. They are some of my favorite drinks and I love trying different flavors and variations of each of them. I made

- Place the mango passion fruit juice, lime juice and sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the rum, a few ice cubes and some mint leaves. Then top off with the sparkling water, mix gently and serve.

- Fill glasses with ice; top with cocktail. Garnish each glass with passion-fruit seeds (if using) and a mint sprig. Sprinkle ice cubes with a pinch of sea salt; serve.

This recipe was a total accident. Never thought when I asked for light rum that I would be given mango-flavored rum, but it turned out wonderfully. Nice and tropical, yet has that cool, minty flavor.

- Stir lemon-lime soda, club soda, and mango-flavored rum together in a measuring cup. Pour soda mixture over the mint mixture in the glass. Mix in ice. Garnish with 1 lime wedge.
