MAPLE VANILLA ICED COFFEE
Rich, creamy, and subtly sweet, this iced coffee drizzled with vanilla-infused maple syrup will give you jitters in all the right ways.

Steps:
- Make the maple-vanilla syrup
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add maple syrup along with the vanilla bean and the seeds scraped from the vanilla bean. Bring to a low boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Discard vanilla bean and stir in vanilla extract.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Keeps for about 2 weeks.
- Make the maple vanilla iced coffee (and be happy)
- Fill a large glass with ice. Pour iced coffee concentrate over the top. Drizzle in maple syrup and add a splash of half-and-half if desired. Stir and serve with a straw.
VANILLA ICED COFFEE -- SIMPLE AND EASY
It only takes a minute to make up a tall, cold glass of this refreshing, hot-weather drink. You've probably got all the ingredients on hand. While its best if you thought ahead to make some double-strong coffee, that last mugfull that got cold in the pot will do. ;) (I confess, I can't afford to use real vanilla all the time. The artificial kind works just fine in this for my tastes).

MCDONALD'S VANILLA ICED COFFEE
This is the basic recipe for McDonald's iced coffee. NOTE: We use Dunkin Donuts coffee beans (available at most supermarkets in the USA now) we ground at the store and brewed in a French press. If you can't find that, I recommend that you use a fairly mellow light roast. Millstone Kona Blend or Hawaiian blend are also great. You won't need a French press, but obviously, well made coffee couldn't hurt this. If you follow the directions and use quality ingredients, you'll wonder why you're paying $2.50 or more for iced coffee anywhere else. Feel free to double or quadruple the recipe if you have guests.

- When coffee is done brewing, you may place it in the freezer for 15 minutes to cool it down a little so less ice will be melted.
- Fill 22 ounce cup to top with ice.

- Mix carefully but thoroughly with spoon.
- Add straw.
- Enjoy!
