Use just about any fruit -- we like watermelon, grapefruit, kiwi, or pomegranate -- to make these simple, refreshing treats.

- In a small saucepan, bring sugar and 1/3 cup water to a boil over high, stirring until sugar dissolves. Transfer to a 4-cup liquid measuring cup or medium bowl and refrigerate until cool, 30 minutes. Stir in juice. Pour mixture into eight 3-ounce ice-pop molds. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze until solid, 6 hours (or up to 2 weeks).

ICE CREAM AND BLUEBERRY POPS
This iconic, lip-staining treat matures into a creamy dessert-on-a-stick. Simply blend your favorite berries into vanilla ice cream.

Steps:
- Cook blueberries, lemon juice, and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until berries release their juices, about 10 minutes. Strain mixture through a fine sieve, pressing on berries to extract liquid. Discard solids.
- Refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour. Transfer to a blender along with ice cream, and puree until smooth. Divide mixture among fourteen 2 1/2-ounce ice-pop molds, and freeze until hardened, at least 4 hours.
STRIPED ICE POPS
Kids love helping to make these frozen treats almost as much as they love eating them. If you're making the pops for adults only, you can add Chambord, a raspberry-flavored liqueur.

- Make the vanilla-yogurt mix: Stir together all ingredients.
- Make the raspberry puree: Puree raspberries and sugar in a food processor. Strain through a fine sieve; discard solids. Stir in Chambord.
- Make the ice pops: Pour a few tablespoons vanilla-yogurt mix, raspberry puree, or juice into each of ten 3-ounce ice-pop molds; freeze for 1 hour. Repeat once, alternating to create stripes. Cover molds, and insert sticks; freeze for 1 hour.
- Remove tops of molds, and repeat pouring and freezing (for 1 hour between each layer) to create stripes until molds are full. Freeze until very firm, at least 3 hours or overnight. Remove ice pops from molds to serve.
COCONUT-WATER ICE POPS

- In a food processor, puree strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar. Transfer to a small bowl. In processor, puree blueberries with 1 tablespoon sugar. In another small bowl, whisk together yogurt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Pour the 3 mixtures, alternating, into ten 3-ounce ice-pop molds, making 3 to 5 layers in each. With a skewer or thin-bladed knife, swirl mixtures together in an up-and-down motion. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze until solid, 2 1/2 to 3 hours (or up to 1 week).
