MAY DAY OR BELTANE CUPCAKES
Saw this online and had to share. Wish i had time to bake them today. What fun. Altho I did set out my table top May Pole and made a May Basket !!!

Steps:
- Just bake your favorite cupcake and use your favorite frosting. I made the MayPoles using Pirouette cookies and ribbon. I attached the ribbon underneath the top of the MayPole using a dab of left over Royal Icing but you could use Karo Syrup. The top of the MayPole is a flavored tootsie roll, but you could just as easily use a piece of fondant or spiced gum drop.
MAY DAY BASKETS
Turn basic cupcakes into candy-topped baskets. Kids if all ages will love them!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make cake mix as directed on box for cupcakes, using water, oil and eggs. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
- Bake 21 to 26 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Spread frosting over cupcakes. Make basket handles with licorice. Decorate with candies. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
