Ingredients

2 cups frozen baby lima beans
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

In a bowl, combine lima beans, soup, celery and milk. Pour into a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs. , Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until the bread crumbs are lightly browned.

1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes, diced
1 (16 ounce) bag frozen lima beans, thawed
4 carrots, peeled and quartered
1 onion, diced
1 dash paprika

Steps:

mix oatmeal and milk together let sit 15 minutes.
add to meat with egg and onion powder and chili powder.
in casserole mix limas with onions.
place carrots
make 8 2 inch balls
place among limas.
pour over tomatoes
cover with foil bake 350 for 1 1/4 hours.

1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) lima beans, rinsed and drained
1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar

Steps:

In a 2-1/2-qt. baking dish, combine beans; set aside. In a skillet, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink. Remove from the heat; drain. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet; mix well. Stir beef mixture into beans. , Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until heated through.

2 cups dried lima beans
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon red pepper, crushed
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups tomatoes, diced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

cook beans for 1 hr beginning with cold water. Add salt in last 1/2 hours drain and reserve 1 to 2 cups liquid.
melt butter in skillet and brown beef, onion, garlic and pepper.
add tomatoes, chili powder, lima beans and cheese.
Put in greased casserole dish. add enough of the reserved liquid to barely cover beans.
bake @ 350 degrees F for 1 hours.

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup sliced onion
1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons catsup
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Steps:

Mix ground beef, evaporated milk, bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper. With wet hands shape into 16 balls.
Brown in skillet in butter with onions.
Cover, cook over low heat 10 minutes. Drain off fat, if any.
Add mixture of baked beans, 1/8 teaspoon salt, catsup, and dry mustard. Cover and heat.
