A buttery, sweet, chocolaty, and nutty cookie treat.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
¾ cup chopped pecans
3 ounces chopped white chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix flour and baking soda together in a bowl.
  • Beat butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Beat egg into the mixture using a wooden spoon. Stir in flour mixture until fully combined. Fold chocolate chips, pecans, and white chocolate into the dough.
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto 4 ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 minutes.

1 can Spam, cut into tiny cubes
1 can refried beans
8 ounces shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 bag tortilla chips
16 ounces salsa, as spicy as you like
finely chopped jalapenos or chile, to taste (Optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425F degrees.
  • Place chips on baking sheet, and sprinkle Spam over chips.
  • In bowl, combine refried beans, salsa, and jalapenos/chilies; pour over chips.
  • Sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 6-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately.
