My mother-in-law gave me her recipe for banana pudding. I think her's is the best I've tried! Um Um Good!

Steps:
- Mix cream cheese and Eagle Brand milk.
- Add milk and pudding; mix well.
- Stir in ½ Cool Whip.
- Save other half for topping.
- In a large bowl, make several layers of pudding mixture, bananas and vanilla wafers.
- Top with remaining Cool Whip.

MAMA'S BANANA PUDDING
Steps:
- In a large bowl, place one layer of sliced bananas, then a layer of wafers until bowl is filled, making sure top layer is wafer. Set aside. In a medium saucepan beat eggs, add sugar and mix well, add flour, milk, vanilla. Bring to boil, pour over bananas and wafer mixture. Chill and Serve.
- TIP: FRIED PLANTAINS
- To peel easily, soak in cold water and peel off skin with knife. Cut into 2-inch diagonal slices and fry in 380 degree oil until golden.

- Make pudding according to directions on box for pie filling, but do not let set. Mix in Cool Whip & Eagle Brand. Slice bananas into desired thickness. In a large bowl, starting with pudding mixture, layer pudding, then cookies, then bananas. Repeat until all pudding mixture is used and top with cookies. Cover & refrigerate 3-4 hours until set.

- Mix sugar and pudding in bowl with milk and vanilla flavoring. Let thicken. Add 1/2 tub of Cool Whip. Stir well until fluffy. Layer bottom of trifle bowl or 9x13 pan with vanilla wafers. Next layer is 2 or 3 cut bananas. Next layer is 1/2 of pudding mixture. Next layer is vanilla wafers. Next layer is last 2 or 3 cut bananas. Pour rest of pudding mixture over that. Top with final layer of Cool Whip. Chill and serve!
