My mother-in-law gave me her recipe for banana pudding. I think her's is the best I've tried! Um Um Good!

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
2 cups milk
1 package instant vanilla pudding
1 carton Cool Whip
1 box vanilla wafer
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 bananas, peeled and sliced

Steps:

Mix cream cheese and Eagle Brand milk.
Add milk and pudding; mix well.
Stir in ½ Cool Whip.
Save other half for topping.
In a large bowl, make several layers of pudding mixture, bananas and vanilla wafers.
Top with remaining Cool Whip.

Ingredients

2-3 bananas, sliced
1 box vanilla wafers
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

In a large bowl, place one layer of sliced bananas, then a layer of wafers until bowl is filled, making sure top layer is wafer. Set aside. In a medium saucepan beat eggs, add sugar and mix well, add flour, milk, vanilla. Bring to boil, pour over bananas and wafer mixture. Chill and Serve.
TIP: FRIED PLANTAINS
To peel easily, soak in cold water and peel off skin with knife. Cut into 2-inch diagonal slices and fry in 380 degree oil until golden.

1 bunch banana
1 (12 ounce) box nilla wafer cookies
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
1 (5 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding (prepared as pie filling)

Steps:

Make pudding according to directions on box for pie filling, but do not let set. Mix in Cool Whip & Eagle Brand. Slice bananas into desired thickness. In a large bowl, starting with pudding mixture, layer pudding, then cookies, then bananas. Repeat until all pudding mixture is used and top with cookies. Cover & refrigerate 3-4 hours until set.

12 ounces vanilla wafers (approx. 1 box, may use more for trimming bowl)
5 bananas
1 box Jello instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla flavoring
1 cup whole milk
1 large tub (16 ounce) Cool Whip

Steps:

Mix sugar and pudding in bowl with milk and vanilla flavoring. Let thicken. Add 1/2 tub of Cool Whip. Stir well until fluffy. Layer bottom of trifle bowl or 9x13 pan with vanilla wafers. Next layer is 2 or 3 cut bananas. Next layer is 1/2 of pudding mixture. Next layer is vanilla wafers. Next layer is last 2 or 3 cut bananas. Pour rest of pudding mixture over that. Top with final layer of Cool Whip. Chill and serve!
