HOW TO MAKE MIMI'S TOMATO SOUP CAKE

- Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves through a fine-mesh strainer into a medium bowl. Whisk together.
- Combine the butter, sugar and vanilla in another medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. - Cream together butter and sugar.
