ICED SWEET MINT TEA
If you enjoy having a soothing, refreshing glass of iced tea in the summertime, I hope you will try my version of sweet mint tea. I grew up drinking mint tea and still enjoy it so very much today. If you don't care for sugar in your tea, just leave it out, it will still be just as satisfying.

MINT SWEET TEA RECIPE
Steps:
- First, boil the 2½ cups water on the stove. Once boiling, remove it from the heat and add the tea bags and baking soda. Allow the tea to steep, covered for at least 15-17 minutes. Then, add the cool water and ice and refrigerate it until its nice and cool. You can add less cool water if you like your tea more stout, or more water if you like it less strong.
- --> For the Mint Sugar Water:
- This is the basic sugar water recipe our family uses, and although I'm making it mint-flavored, I've added peaches to make peach sugar water, and I'm sure there are a million other flavors you could add to yours to make your tea whatever kind you'd like!
- Cups Water
- Cups Sugar
- -20 Mint Leaves (removes from stems)
- Boil the water and sugar together until the sugar is dissolved, stir frequently. Once boiling, remove it from heat and add the mint leaves. After cooling, remove the leaves with a slotted spoon and store the sugar water in a glass jar.

MINT SWEET ICED TEA
All the mint sweet tea recipes I've come across call for fresh mint, and that can be tough to find sometimes without breaking the bank. I've come by this recipe after quite a bit of experimentation, and the great part is that it can be made just about anywhere, as long as you have the ability to cool the tea back down after brewing!

MINT TEA
Once you sip a cup of your own home-brewed mint tea, you may never go back to tea bags. If you're drinking it hot, add a squeeze of lemon. Or pour cooled tea over ice cubes, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
