Ingredients

1/2 cup brewed strong MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee (any variety), chilled
4 triangles (1/3 of 3.5-oz. bar) Swiss milk chocolate nougat bar, coarsely chopped
1 cup coffee ice cream, slightly softened
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
2 tsp. grated Swiss milk chocolate nougat bar

Steps:

Blend coffee and chopped chocolate in blender until chocolate is finely chopped.
Add ice cream and milk; use pulsing action to blend until smooth.
Pour into 2 glasses; top with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

And it's easy to change a little bit to accommodate your favorite flavors, like by using flavored coffee creamers, or different types of coffee. I like it because, unlike other recipes, it's dairy-free. It may have some unusual ingredients, but trust me, they're necessary to make it all bond together and have the great cooler texture.

1 cup cold strong brewed coffee
¾ cup powdered non-dairy creamer
⅓ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
14 cubes ice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 5-second spray of cooking spray

Steps:

Pour coffee into a blender and add creamer, sugar, cocoa, vanilla extract, and ice. Pour vegetable oil over ice cubes and spray cooking spray into blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes.

1/4 cup sugar
1 pint half-and-half cream
whipped light cream, if desired
chocolate shavings, if desired

Steps:

Pour coffee into 3-quart saucepan. Stir in cocoa mix and sugar until dissolved; add half & half. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (3 to 4 minutes).
Garnish each serving with whipped cream; sprinkle with chocolate shavings, if desired.
