1 1/2 cups cold water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 cups (24 oz.) club soda, chilled
1 orange, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • In large nonmetal pitcher or bowl, combine cranberry juice concentrate, water, orange juice and lemon juice; blend well. Refrigerate 1 hour or until thoroughly chilled.
  • To serve, gently stir in club soda and orange slices.

1 lemon (sliced, 1/4-inch thick)
1 lime (sliced, 1/8-inch thick)
2 ​ apples (cored and chopped)
3 cups red grape juice
1 cups white grape juice
1 1/2 cups orange juice (fresh squeezed)
1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
2 tablespoons lime juice (fresh squeezed)
1 (25.4-ounce) bottle sparkling apple cider (plain seltzer is fine, too)

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Layer half of the orange, lemon, lime slices, and chopped apples in the bottom of a 4-quart glass pitcher. Repeat with the remaining fruit to create a second layer.
  • Pour in the grape juices, orange, lemon, and lime juices. Use a long spoon or sturdy skewer to gently stir it until well mixed. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to serve, add the sparkling cider to the pitcher. Stir gently to stir. Serve over ice.

2 oranges
1 lemon
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 bottles (25.4 oz each) white Catawba grape juice
2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice
2 cups sparkling water, chilled

Steps:

  • Cut ends off fruit. In 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar and water; add ends of fruit. Heat to boiling; boil 3 minutes. Cool; discard ends. Cut remaining limes, oranges and lemon into thin slices.
  • In 3-quart non-metal container, mix sugar-water mixture, grape juice and liqueur. Add fruit slices; refrigerate. Just before serving, add sparkling water; stir gently.

2 cups cut fruit (citrus, berries, melon)
1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar, honey, or simple syrup
1/2 cup liquor (brandy, triple sec, light rum, liqueur)
1/2 - 3/4 cup juice (orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit)
1 bottle sparkling wine
1 cup mix (sparkling water, soda water, or 7up) optional
Garnish: fruit slices, mint, basil

Steps:

  • Cut your fruit, add to a large jug or pitcher.
  • Add your sugar, liquor of your choice, and juice. Stir gently then let stand at room temperature for one hour to masticate fruit.
  • Pour in your chilled sparkling wine and (if you have room) the mix (or you can add it to the glass or skip it altogether; like I do!).
  • Serve Sparkling Sangria immediately over ice. Garnish with sliced fruit, basil or mint, or all three!

Steps:

  • Squeeze juice from 1 each lemon and orange; pour into 3-qt. pitcher. Add pineapple juice and strawberries; stir. Refrigerate 10 min.
  • Meanwhile, cut off and discard peel from remaining lemon and orange; cut fruit into thin wedges.

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1/2 vanilla bean, split
SANGRIA:
1 package (12 ounces) frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
2 medium kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, undrained
1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
1 medium orange, thinly sliced
1 medium lime, thinly sliced
1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
2 bottles (750 milliliters each) dry red wine
2 cups orange juice
2/3 cup orange liqueur
2/3 cup Cognac or brandy
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons lime juice
1 bottle (1 liter) carbonated water, chilled

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and vanilla. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3-5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature. Discard vanilla bean., Divide the fruits between 2 large pitchers. Add the wine, orange juice, liqueur, Cognac, lemon juice, lime juice and vanilla mixture. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Just before serving, stir in carbonated water.
