1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Melt chocolate and cream in double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Dip pretzels one at a time quickly to coat while mixture is still very warm. Place pretzels on wax paper to set and cool.

These are unlike any chocolate pretzel I have ever had before! My aunt gave me the recipe and they are wonderful.

24 circular pretzels
24 milk chocolate candy kisses
1 (1.69 ounce) package mini candy-coated chocolates

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place pretzels on baking sheets. Unwrap candy kisses and place one in the center of each pretzel.
  • Place in preheated oven 1 to 2 minutes, until kisses melt. Remove from oven and place one candy-coated chocolate in the center of each pretzel. Chill in refrigerator until set.

1 cup pretzels, lightly crushed
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar, plus 2 tablespoons
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups milk
1 egg
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Special Equipment: 4 (4-ounce) ramekins

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. On a sheet tray, gently toss pretzels, butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake until sugar melts and crystallizes on the pretzels, about 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa, 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch. Form a well in the center and slowly whisk in milk over medium heat. This helps prevent the cornstarch from clumping. Bring mixture to a boil to thicken. Remove from heat. In a small bowl, whisk a little of the milk mixture into the egg to temper. Add egg mixture to the pot of milk. Heat over low until mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency, about 3 to 5 minutes. Mix in chips until melted and combined well. Pour pudding into ramekins. Chill at least 1 hour. To serve, top with pretzels.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 ounces white baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
GLAZE:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening
1 teaspoon light corn syrup
1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 to 5 tablespoons hot brewed coffee
2 ounces white baking chocolate, chopped
Green colored sugar, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until dough is easy to handle., Divide dough into fourths; divide each portion into 12 pieces. Shape each piece into a 6 in. rope; twist into a pretzel shape. Place 1 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. , Bake at 400° for 7-9 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool., For glaze, in a microwave, melt the semisweet chips, shortening and corn syrup; stir until smooth. Stir in confectioners' sugar and enough coffee to achieve a glaze consistency. Dip cookies in glaze; allow excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper until set., In a microwave, melt white chocolate over 30% power; stir until smooth. Drizzle over cookies. Decorate with green sprinkles if desired; let stand until set.

1 (1 lb) bag of round mini pretzel
1 (14 ounce) bag Hershey's Hugs chocolates or 1 (14 ounce) bag Hershey chocolate kisses
1 (17 5/8 ounce) bag M&M's plain chocolate candy

Steps:

  • Directions
  • Preheat oven to 200°.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment or waxed paper.
  • Place as many pretzels on the cookie sheet as will fit.
  • Top each with a Hershey's Kiss or Hug. The Hugs chocolates melt faster than Kisses.
  • Place in oven and remove when candy begins to soften just enough to press an M&M candy or decoration into softened candy.
  • Top each with a holiday M&M or decorative candy of choice.
  • Allow to cool completely and then place in freezer for 15 minutes to firm up chocolate.
  • Remove from freezer, place pretzel candies in airtight container and store in freezer until ready to use.
  • *Any small shaped pretzel can be used, such as square, waffle-shaped or round.
  • *Serve for any holiday or event by changing the color of the M&M candies to colors consistent with the celebration.

Nonstick cooking spray
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips (16 ounces)
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon fine salt
2 1/2 cups roughly chopped miniature pretzels

Steps:

  • Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on all sides.
  • Place butter, chocolate chips, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a medium heatproof bowl set over (not in) a pot of barely simmering water. Stir occasionally until chocolate just melts and mixture is combined and warm but not hot, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups pretzels. Transfer mixture to pan and smooth top; press 1/2 cup pretzels on top. Refrigerate until set, 2 hours (or up to overnight, wrapped). Using parchment, lift fudge from pan and cut into 36 squares.

Here's what you need: pretzel, crispy rice cereal, marshmallow, butter, caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips, nonstick spray

3 cups pretzel, crushed
2 cups crispy rice cereal
10 oz marshmallow
¼ cup butter
13 oz caramel, spreadable
11.5 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
nonstick spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300˚F (150˚C).
  • Combine cereal and crushed pretzels in a large bowl.
  • In another large bowl, melt marshmallows and butter in the microwave for 1 minute & 30 seconds, stirring half way. (Time may vary depending on your microwave, so, keep an eye on it!)
  • Combine cereal, pretzels and melted marshmallows. Mix well.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray generously with non-stick cooking spray. (You might want to spray your hands too!)
  • Remove marshmallow mixture from the bowl and place onto the baking sheet. Spray another piece of parchment paper with non-stick spray and lay the sprayed side on top of the marshmallow mixture.
  • Roll out with a rolling pin into a thin layer.
  • Remove the top layer of parchment paper and evenly spread caramel over the marshmallow mixture. Pour chocolate chips over the caramel.
  • Bake for 2 minutes, or until chocolate chips spread easily across the caramel.
  • Carefully & tightly roll it up longways, peeling back the parchment paper as you go. Cover in plastic wrap & chill for 2-3 hours, or until it has firmed up nicely.
  • Remove plastic wrap and parchment paper, and cut in 1-inch (2 cm) slices.
  • Enjoy!

A wonderful rich cookie, which is great served with a nice hot coffe or chocolate on one of those bitter winter days. Easy to make and very impressive. When baking with kids the coffee can easily be ommited. Prep time includes chill time.

Number Of Ingredients 8

200 g coffee flavoured chocolate
350 g flour
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
125 g sugar
250 g soft butter
1 egg
65 g ground hazelnuts

Steps:

  • Grate the chocolate finely. Combine with flour, 1 tbs cocoa powder, coffee powder, butter, sugar, egg and hazelnuts. Using the dough hooks work into a smooth dough. Divide into three parts and roll those into coils of approximately 4 cm in diameter. Wrap with cling film and cool for 30 minutes.
  • Take out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut coils into 1cm thick slices and roll these out into long strings (fingerthick or smaller). Form into pretzels and put onto a paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes. When cooled, you can dipp them into melted chocolate or decorate them with fine lines of melted chocolate.
