MONSTER COOKIES
This recipe combines several favorite flavors-peanut butter, butterscotch and chocolate-in one big cookie. Before baking, I like to press a few extra M&M's on top for added color. -Patricia Schroedl, Jefferson, Wisconsin

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add baking soda and vanilla. Add oats, M&M's, butterscotch chips and peanuts; let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in flour (the dough will be crumbly)., Shape by 1/4 cupfuls into balls. Place on greased baking sheets, about 9 cookies on each sheet. Gently flatten cookies. Bake at 325° for 15-18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.

MONSTER COOKIES VIII
Quick, easy cookie using a boxed cake mix as its base. Very moist and fluffy! Add any variations you desire such as pecans, candy, raisins or butterscotch chips.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix, oats and baking powder. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and margarine; mix until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

MONSTER COOKIES FOR KIDS RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: salted butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, large eggs, baking soda, kosher salt, all purpose flour, rolled oats, mini M&Ms

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350* F.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, cream together butter and peanut butter until combined. Then, add in both sugars and cream together until fluffy.
- Slowly add in the eggs and vanilla until combined. Scrape down the bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Add salt and baking soda and mix well. Then, slowly incorporate flour until combined.
- Fold in oats with a spatula or wooden spoon. Then, fold in mini M&M's.
- Cover dough and chill for 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, scoop dough onto parchment lined baking sheets. Press down the tops of the dough balls slightly with the back of a spatula.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool cookies on a wire rack completely.
- Serve.

- In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, baking soda, vanilla and corn syrup. Add oats and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and M&M's. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour., Preheat oven to 350°. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 3 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 14-18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

- Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. On ungreased cookie sheet, place balls 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly. Insert craft stick halfway into each dough ball.
- Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.

Steps:
- PREHEAT oven to 325°F.
- COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels, oats and raisins. Drop dough by level 1/4 -cup measure 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Shape into round mounds. Insert wooden stick into side of each mound.
- BAKE for 14 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets on wire racks for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- DECORATE pops as desired.
- NOTE: 2 2/3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate-Covered Raisins may be substituted for the Semi-Sweet Morsels and raisins.
- * For those on the go, 2 pkg. (18 oz. each), Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough can be substituted for the first nine ingredients, adding 1 cup quick or old-fashioned oats and 1/2 cup raisins to the dough. Bake as stated above for 16 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 18 cookies.
