FAVORITE PORK CHOPS
My mom often served this dish when relatives were visiting. The night before, I'd watch her prepare the soy sauce marinade. As the pork chops baked the next day, the tantalizing aroma would fill the kitchen. It was always a hit! -Cris O'Brien, Virginia Beach, Virginia

MY KIDZ FAVORITE PORK CHOPS
This recipe will fall off of the bone. Don't be alarmed by the beer, as it will cook off while the pork chops are braising. If you would like, you can substitute Chicken Broth or Vegetable Broth for the beer. The flavors will give you a tangy taste with not too much effort. Great for unexpected guests. I posted this recipe on another site, but I want to keep all of my recipes together in one place. You can either cook the chops on top of the range or throw them into the oven on a low temperature (about 300 degrees for 1 - 2 hours). Serve with white rice.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over mediumhigh. Season pork chops all over (including the fat cap) with salt and pepper. Cook pork chops until bottom side is golden brown, about 1 minute. Turn and cook on other side about 1 minute before turning again. Repeat this process, turning about every minute, until chops are deep golden brown and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 135°, 8-10 minutes (cooking time will depend on thickness of chops).
- Remove pan from heat and add sage, garlic, and butter, smashing garlic into butter. Tilt skillet and spoon foaming butter and drippings over pork chops, making sure to baste the fat cap as well as the rib. Transfer pork chops to a cutting board and let rest at least 5 minutes (pork will come to 145° as it sits).
- Cut away bone and slice pork about 1/4" thick. Serve with any juices from the cutting board spooned over top.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, mix black pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, beef bouillon and hot water. Set aside.
- In a large frying pan (with deep sides), heat your oil. Coat your pork chops in flour and add to pan. Cook until lightly browned and turn over. Remove pork chops from the pan and pour in your soup mixture. Whisk to get all the good bits off the frying pan. Add your pork chops back to the pan. Simmer on low for 30 minutes (or until your pork chops are cooked through).
- CROCK POT VERSION: Do all steps up to frying up your chops and adding the soup mixture. Place pork on bottom of crock pot, cover with soup mixture and cook on low for approximately 6 hours. Add mushrooms the last 30 minutes if desired.
- OVEN VERSION: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Do all steps up to frying and adding soup mixture. Place pork on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Cover with soup mixture and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until done.

BUSY-DAY PORK CHOPS
It was time to use or lose some pork chops I had in the fridge, so I dressed them in bread crumbs and Parmesan and baked them up. Necessity sure is the mother of invention, and in this case I invented an amazing healthy pork chop recipe. -Dee Maltby, Wayne, Ohio
