GRANDMA'S CLASSIC NO-BAKE COOKIES
This is the first cookie I ever learned to make as a child. They're very delicious with the peanut butter and oatmeal. You can eat them fresh out of the pan in a bowl with a spoon, which is delicious with a glass of milk besides. This no-bake cookie recipe was my grandmother's, and my mother taught it to her children, and I will to mine. I hope you have as much fun making this either by yourself or with your children, as I did with my mom. Separate cookies with waxed paper if putting in a tin or baggie to prevent sticking.

Steps:
- Combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder in a large saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until butter is melted and mixture is smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add oats, peanut butter, and vanilla extract; mix until thoroughly combined. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto sheets of waxed paper. Let cool until solid, 20 to 30 minutes.

- Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Mix well and drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
- Let cool.
- Note: After I have let them cool, I put them in the fridge.
- They seem to harden better, plus they taste good that way.
MY SISTER'S TWIST TO NO-BAKE COOKIES
If you love no-bake cookies, then you will love this recipe. It tastes like the original recipe but it a little creamier.

Steps:
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan except for the vanilla and oats.
- Bring mixture to a boil. Boil until the bubbles are shiney (about two minutes after boiling starts).
- Remove from heat and put mixture into a mixing bowl because it will continue to cook in the pan.
- Add the vanilla and oats and mix until oats are coated.
- Spoon onto wax paper. Let cookies rest until hardened (best results when left to rest in refridgerater with wax paper placed on cookie sheet). Once cookies have hardened, you can now remove them from the wax paper and put them in a container of choice and youre ready to enjoy them.
