S'MORES NACHOS



S'mores Nachos image

A fun way for the entire family to enjoy s'mores right from the grill! Ready in under 10 minutes, and topped with all your favorites, these easy and delicious S'mores Nachos will having you going in for more!

12 - 16 Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
3 - 4 Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars, divided
12 - 16 Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows
2 c. Kraft Jet Puffed Mini-Marshmallows
1 c. Kraft Caramel Bits

Steps:

  • Preheat outdoor gas grill on high setting.
  • Assemble the nachos in a round or rectangular disposable aluminum cake pan. Layer graham crackers, chocolate bars, marshmallows. Top with Caramel bits and a few extra chocolate bars.
  • Place pan with assembled nachos directly on to the preheated grill, over indirect heat/flame. Shut grill lid, and let melt for about 2 minutes. Careful not to overcook, as the marshmallows can burn. Remove from grill with potholders. Enjoy right away!
  • To make in the oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place pan of s'mores nachos on the top rack. Keep an eye on the nachos. They will need just 3-5 minutes. Take out when the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate is soft and melted.

5 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
Sea salt
1 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour and a dash salt with a fork. Transfer the flour mixture to the bowl of a food processor. Add in the butter and 2 cups water. Pulse just until bound. Take the dough out of the food processor. Sprinkle the counter lightly with some flour. Cut the dough into three equal chunks. Flour your rolling pin, then roll out each piece of dough. Lightly fold in half, which creates a half-moon shape, and move to baking sheet. Open and flatten out the dough. Wet your hands and wipe over the dough to moisten. Sprinkle with sea salt. Cut with ravioli wheel (random sizes are best). Then take a fork and puncture the pieces. Repeat for the remaining pieces of dough. Bake until puffy and golden brown, 10 minutes.

Recipe courtesy George Duran of Ham on the Street. I love HOTS and I couldn't pass up this recipe! This would be great right after a BBQ. This is intended for camping, but at the end of the recipe there is alternate way to cook this.

1 (14 ounce) package graham crackers
6 milk chocolate candy bars (recommended -- Hershey's)
0.5 (10 1/2 ounce) bag mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • Break the graham crackers into pieces and place a layer in the bottom of a cast iron skillet.
  • Break up the chocolate bars and put a layer on top of the crackers.
  • Now add another layer of crackers and chocolate.
  • Evenly distribute the marshmallows over it all.
  • Place the skillet in a corner of the campfire, rotating the pan 1/4 turn every 3 minutes, until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallow are golden brown, about 12 minutes.
  • Be sure to protect your hands from the fire at all times.
  • Alternately, the S'mores can be made in a pie pan in a preheated 250 degree F oven until the chocolate and marshmallows melt.

Steps:

  • Break each graham cracker into 4 pieces. Pile pieces in ungreased pie pan. DO NOT USE GLASS. Top with chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  • Broil 6 inches from heat for 30 to 60 seconds or until marshmallows are puffed and golden, watching to prevent burning.

6 ounces Cinnamon Graham Crackers
5 each Mission® Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas
½ cup Butter, melted
1 (10 ounce) jar Chocolate sauce
1 ½ cups Miniature Marshmallows

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a food processor, process the graham crackers into fine crumbs. Cut each tortilla into 8 equal size wedges. Dip wedges into melted butter and then into cracker crumbs.
  • Spread out tortillas onto a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Turn chips over and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden.
  • Pile chips onto an oven safe platter, drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with marshmallows.
  • (Optional) Return platter to the oven until marshmallows are lightly browned.
