Nutella® Brownies image

These moist, fudgy brownies started out as an impromptu experiment when I realized too late I was out of baking chocolate. Now it's one of my favorite brownie recipes! The Nutella® and Frangelico® give them a distinctly nutty flavor without interrupting the smooth texture. I love these brownies with cold milk or hot coffee.

½ cup butter
¼ cup hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico®)
¼ cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®), or more to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon salt
⅔ cup white sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter, hazelnut liqueur, and chocolate-hazelnut spread together in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until starting to bubble, about 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and cool slightly.
  • Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  • Beat white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy; slowly mix in butter mixture until smooth. Stir flour mixture into butter-sugar mixture just until batter is combined; fold in chocolate chips, if using. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool brownies in pan for at least 2 hours before cutting.

2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray an 8x8" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Beat eggs on low speed in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment until combined. Add chocolate-hazelnut spread and beat until smooth. Add flour and salt and beat, scraping down sides of bowl as needed, until combined.
  • Pour into prepared dish; smooth surface with a spatula. Bake brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes. Let cool, then cut into 9 pieces and serve.

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (unbleached)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup nutella
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted, room temperature

Steps:

  • Put rack in center of the oven. Preheat oven at 325°F Put parchment paper in the bottom of a 9 inch square pan (but taking care to let exceed a strip of parchment paper on each side (2 sides) and butter the two other sides). Sorry for this sentence, I had so much trouble translating it LOL.
  • In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, with an electric mixer, beat eggs, nutella, brown sugar and vanilla until the mixture is creamy and homogeneous, about 2 minutes. At low speed, add dry ingredients alternating with melted butter.
  • Spread in the pan. Cook 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out with lumps and not completely clean.
  • Let cool in the pan about 2 hours. Remove from pan and cut in squares.

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 180oc.
  • Get a large bowl and add the flour, eggs and Nutella. Mix with a wooden spoon until smooth and all of the ingtedients are well incorporated.
  • Grease a baking tray and pour in your mixture. Top with walnuts if preferred.
  • Bake for 15-20 minuets, to check place a sharp knife into you brownies and check if there is any wet mixture on your knife, if so place back into the oven.
  • Leave to cool for around 10minuits and then cut into even slices.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/180°. Line the 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving enough overhang on the sides for lifting the brownies out after baking.
  • In a large heat-proof bowl, place chocolate, butter, and nutella and melt in the microwave in 20-30 second-intervals, stirring in between each interval, until melted (or, set it over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring occasionally). Add sugar and whisk until combined. Add eggs, one at a time, and whisk vigorously for a few times until well combined. Add flour and salt and fold, using a rubber spatula, just until mixed.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Remove frozen nutella from the paper and place on top. Top with the rest of the brownie batter.
