OATMEAL KISS COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in oats and nuts. Roll into 1-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. , Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie. Remove to wire racks.

OATMEAL KISS COOKIES

• Preheat oven to 375°F.
• In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars.
• Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
• Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
• Stir in oats and nuts.
• Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
• Immediately press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
• Remove to wire racks.

CRISPY OATMEAL COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
• In a mixer, cream the butter until fluffy. Add the sugars, and cream together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
• In a bowl, stir together the oats, flour, salt, and baking soda. Mixing, slowly add the oat mixture to the butter mixture and mix just until combined. Add raisins and mix just until combined.
• Drop by tablespoonfuls onto the baking sheets, leaving at least 2-inches between cookies. Bake until browned and crispy around the edges, about 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool on wire racks and store in an airtight container.

• Beat butter, shortening, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in rolled oats and nuts. Shape rounded teaspoons of dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
• Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven; immediately place chocolate piece in center of each cookie, pressing down lightly. Carefully remove cookies from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
