One Pan Sausage Alfredo image

One-Pan Sausage Alfredo Pasta is an easy, filling one-pan meal the entire family will enjoy. Homemade alfredo sauce included!

1/2 pound ziti or penne (, cooked al dente)
5 hot Italian sausage links (, cut into thirds)
1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves (, minced)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese (, shredded)
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 cup roasted red peppers (, cut into strips)
parsley (, chopped, for garnish)

Steps:

  • n a large pot over medium heat, cook sausage links cut into thirds, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain and wipe pot clean.
  • Add butter, melt and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add heavy cream and shredded parmesan cheese. Whisk until it starts to thicken.
  • Whisk in fine sea salt and ground white pepper.
  • Add sausage links, cooked pasta and roasted red pepper into sauce. Toss to coat.
  • Serve and top with chopped parsley.

It is so simple to make and absolutely packed with flavor. Tender chunks of chicken with smoky pieces of sausage in a rich and delicious homemade Cajun-flavored Alfredo sauce.

1 pound chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
½ teaspoon kosher salt
freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced on the diagonal
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 ¼ cups heavy cream
2 cups dried penne pasta
1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning, plus more to taste
½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon minced Italian flat-leaf parsley

Steps:

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large, covered cooking pot over medium-high heat. Brown chicken in the hot oil, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Add sausage to the pot and continue to cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes more. Stir in garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, pasta, and Cajun seasoning. Stir together and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, about 5 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and cook until pasta is tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Stir in chopped parsley and sprinkle with additional Cajun seasoning if desired.

3-1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 jar (15 ounces) roasted garlic Alfredo sauce
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. , Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the sausage, green pepper, onion and mushrooms over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in Alfredo sauce. Drain pasta and stir into skillet; heat through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
