2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 ⅓ cups milk
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
⅓ cup graham cracker crumbs
7 tablespoons marshmallow creme
7 tablespoons milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat griddle or skillet; grease if necessary. Stir Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, vanilla and egg until blended. Pour batter by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle.
  • Cook until bubbles break on surface. Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon cracker crumbs over each pancake. Turn; cook until golden. Remove from griddle.
  • Spread about 1 tablespoon marshmallow creme over the crumbs side of each of 7 pancakes; sprinkle about 1 tablespoon chocolate chips over marshmallow creme on each. Top with another pancake, crumbs side down.

A sugar cone stands in for graham crackers in this clever s'mores hack for camping. Gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate are mostly contained in a toasted sugar cone which is a super easy way to make--and eat!--a s'more. No roasting sticks or wire hangers necessary!

1 (1.5 ounce) bar milk chocolate candy bar (such as Hershey's®)
6 sugar cones
¾ cup mini marshmallows
6 sheets aluminum foil

Steps:

  • Build a campfire and allow the fire to burn until it has accumulated a bed of coals. Rake the coals into a flat bed on one side of the fire.
  • Divide chocolate bar into 12 pieces.
  • Fill each cone with 2 tablespoons marshmallows and 2 chocolate pieces.
  • Wrap each filled cone in foil and place on the campfire, indirectly over the heat and cook until gooey and melted, about 5 minutes, rotating halfway through.

3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup miniature marshmallow
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs and butter, press into a 9x13" pan.
  • Mix chips together; spread on graham cracker layer.
  • Cover with marshmallows & can of sweetened condensed milk.
  • Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, until marshmallows are gooey & brown.

Waffle ice cream cones (I used JOY's Classic)
Creamy peanut butter
Mini marshmallows
Graham crackers, broken into small irregular pieces (I used Honey graham crackers)
Reese's peanut butter cups, chopped (I quartered Mini Reese's cups)
Aluminum foil
This is a very versatile recipe so fill cones with whatever you may have on hand. Other filling substitutions such as broken Hershey candy bars or chocolate chips, or peanut butter or butterscotch chips can be used.

Steps:

  • Using a butter knife, lightly coat the insides of waffle cones with creamy peanut butter. (This not only adds flavor but acts as glue to hold the other fillings in place). Layer the other S'mores ingredients in the cones. Wrap cones tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated 350° F. oven for 10-15 minutes, or until hot and gooey. (If using a campfire or grill, the time may need to be adjusted and the cones rotated to prevent burning.) Carefully, remove the foil and serve. (They may need to cool some before serving to children).
