PARMESAN GARLIC FRENCH FRIES

Parmesan Garlic French Fries image

The perfect cheesy, garlicky snack or side dish. Make homemade fries or use store bought and top them with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and minced garlic.

Provided by Jacqueline Piper

Categories     Side Dish

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 russet potatoes (or a bag of store-bought fries)
3 cloves garlic, micro-planed
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
3 green onions, chopped
salt and pepper (I like freshly cracked)

Steps:

  • If you're using store bought fries, cook to package instructions. If using potatoes, cut into french fries sized sticks. Place on a silicone mat line baking sheet, and bake 400°F for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked and crispy. Flip once.
  • Once the fries are ready and while they are still hot, plate them individually or on a big platter and grate over the Parmesan cheese. Use a micro-plane and grate the garlic over. Scatter chopped green onions over and then crack over salt and pepper to finish. Serve.
