Easy BBQ Ribs image

These Easy BBQ Ribs are always a hit! Super tender, mouth-watering ribs recipe that worthy of parties and BBQ's!

(2) 3 lb. pork baby back ribs
BBQ Sauce, your favorite kind
1 1/2 tablespoons cumin
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Add all the ingredients for the dry rub to a small bowl and mix together. Divide the rub evenly between the 2 slabs of ribs and rub generously on both sides.
  • Wrap the ribs tightly in foil then place onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tender.
  • At this point you can cool the ribs and keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before cooking.
  • When you're ready to grill the ribs, preheat your grill to medium heat, then place each slab of ribs onto the grill.
  • Let the ribs warm up for a few minutes, then start to baste the ribs with bbq sauce on the bottom side of the rack. Let the sauce set on the bottom for 2-3 minutes, then flip the racks over to the top and baste with BBQ sauce generously. Close the lid and let the sauce set for 2-3 minutes on the top. Baste with one more layer of sauce and remove the ribs from the grill.
  • Let the ribs rest for a couple of minutes, then slice into sections (2-3 ribs per sections) and serve with extra sauce on the side if desired.

1 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/4 cup brown sugar, light or dark
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 jalapeños, one seeded, both finely chopped
1 clove garlic, grated on a rasp
Zest of 1 orange (if using fresh orange juice)
Kosher salt and freshly ground coarse black pepper
1 cup orange juice (preferably fresh)
3 to 4 pounds baby back pork ribs, sliver skin removed
Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
1 orange, sliced into wedges, for serving

Steps:

  • For the sauce: Add the marmalade, onions, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, jalapeños, garlic, orange zest, a pinch of salt and plenty of coarse ground black pepper to a medium pot on medium-high. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly reduced and thickened. Remove from the heat and divide as follows: for the basting liquid, pour 1/4th of the sauce into a medium bowl and whisk in the orange juice. Pour the remaining sauce into a medium bowl to use as the glazing liquid.
  • For the ribs: Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Sprinkle the ribs generously on all sides with salt and pepper and place on a rimmed baking sheet, bone-side down. Brush lightly all over with the basting liquid. Pour all the remaining basting liquid into the bottom of the baking sheet and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Cook 3 to 5 hours, basting with the liquid every hour and re-covering tightly each time. After 3 hours, begin checking the ribs for doneness by gently pulling at the middle bone to see if it will release easily from the meat. The ribs are also done with about a 1/2-inch of the bone showing on the ends, or a pull at the middle bone feels like it will release the meat.
  • Once the ribs are cooked remove the aluminum foil and brush the ribs with the reserved sauce. Adjust the rack to the bottom of the oven, turn the broiler on high and cook the ribs until the glaze caramelizes, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven onto a cutting board, tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes. Cut into 1- or 2-bone slices and serve with orange wedges.

½ cup soy sauce
½ cup dark brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
4 sprigs fresh thyme
1 lemon, zested
2 slabs pork rib
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
1 poblano chile, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 ginger, 1-inch (2 1/2 cm) peeled and chopped
salt, to taste
1 ¼ cups chicken broth
1 cup ketchup
12 fl oz beer, 1 bottle
½ cup coffee
⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup molasses
¼ cup soy sauce
1 lemon, juiced

Steps:

  • Whisk together all the rub ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Spread the rub evenly over the pork ribs and place on a wire rack set over a baking sheet with meat side up. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  • For the BBQ sauce, heat oil in a large pot or dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add poblano chile, red onion, garlic, ginger, and a pinch of salt, then cook until onions begin to soften.
  • Add the remaining sauce ingredients and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Turn the heat down to medium-low and cook at an active simmer until the mixture is reduced to about 2 cups (470 ml), about 30-45 minutes.
  • Once reduced, cool slightly then transfer mixture to a blender. Puree until smooth.
  • Preheat oven to 275˚F (140˚C).
  • Uncover the ribs. Spread 1 cup (290g) of the BBQ sauce over each rack of ribs.
  • Keeping them raised over the baking sheet on the wire rack. Pour water into the bottom of the baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 3-3 ½ hours.
  • Remove ribs from oven and preheat the broiler to high.
  • Broil the ribs for 5-10 minutes to finish, until the sauce caramelizes.
  • Cut into individual ribs.
  • Enjoy!

Well get ready, because it's time to pull it back out and put together a barbecuing favorite: ribs. That's right. All you have to do is prep, and let the cooker do the work. With these baby back ribs, you won't even miss going to Chili's anymore.

2 cups BBQ sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon chili powder
3 lb baby back pork rib
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Combine bbq sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl.
  • Salt and pepper the ribs. Place ribs in slow cooker, and cover in sauce.
  • Cook low and slow for eight hours or high for four hours.
  • After the ribs are done, spoon the bbq sauce in the slow cooker over the ribs before removing.
  • Cut the ribs, serve with bbq sauce.
  • Enjoy!
