ELEGANT SHRIMP PASTA
Shrimp and pasta are a dream team! And they taste even better with GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In this easy shrimp pasta recipe, the shrimp is gently cooked in warm olive oil with garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. The shrimp absorb that vibrant seasoning mixture while the oil coaxes the pure flavor from the seafood. Add lemon juice and grated zest for extra zing, toss with linguini, then sit back and bask in the pleasure of your family's delight!

Steps:
- 1. Cook linguini according to package directions. Drain pasta and return to pot; set aside.
- 2. Meanwhile, heat oil in medium saucepan over low heat until warm (oil temperature should register 180 degrees F on deep-fry thermometer). Season shrimp with Adobo. Add shrimp, garlic, thyme and pepper flakes, stirring to coat shrimp in oil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until garlic is light golden brown and shrimp are pink and opaque, 8-10 minutes. Remove pot from heat. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- 3. Place reserved pot with linguini over low heat. Add shrimp mixture, stirring until pasta is coated with sauce and shrimp is well distributed, about 1 minute. Remove pot from heat. Stir in parsley. Serve.
ITALIAN SHRIMP AND PASTA
We like pasta with Italian tomato sauces, and this recipe is one we make often. It's heavy on the shrimp and light on the pasta, and that's the way we like it...we can remember when shrimp was unheard of in our budget, so I guess we're making up for it now!

Steps:
- Shell shrimp; boil shells with just enough water to cover, a large pinch of salt, a grinding of pepper and a pinch of cayenne. Simmer 10 minutes, then drain, reserving liquid (discard shells). Bring a pot of water to boil for pasta and salt it.
- Meanwhile, finely chop about a third of the shrimp. Put olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; a minute later add onion and carrot, and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are quite soft, about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, herb and chopped shrimp, and cook, still over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes begin to break down. Add stock from shrimp shells and cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is no longer soupy but still moist.
- When sauce is almost done, cook pasta. When pasta has about 5 minutes to go, stir whole shrimp into sauce. Serve pasta with sauce and shrimp, garnished with a few leaves of marjoram or oregano.

GREEN SAUCE SHRIMP PASTA RECIPE BY TASTY

- In a large pan, add the butter, thyme and rosemary. Stir.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes. Take them out of the pan and set aside.
- Sprinkle the flour and mix until it becomes slightly brown.
- Pour the warm milk slowly while mixing.
- Add salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg. Stir and add the chopped onion. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the fresh parsley and green onion (or chives). Blend everything with a mixer.
- Cook until the sauce is bubbling, turn off the heat. Add the shrimp. Stir and then add the lime juice
- Stir in the pasta. Serve right away.

GARLIC PASTA WITH SHRIMP
I was inspired from a recipe I found from one of the grocery stores in our neighborhood. I changed a few things to fit our taste. It made for the best dinner we have had in a long time. If you like garlic and shrimp you will enjoy this recipe. Serve with steam veggies and garlic toast or your favorite side dish and bread. I used recipe#278799 with our dinner.

- In a large pot, bring water and kosher salt to a boil. Add pasta and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until soft to your liking. Drain and run cold water over pasta and let drain well and set aside.
- In a large skillet heat olive oil on medium heat. Add fresh raw shrimp and sprinkle sea salt over the shrimp. Stir to combine for 5-10 minutes or until shrimp has turned a light pink.
- Add minced garlic and stir well to combine flavor. {Don't let the minced garlic brown}
- Turn heat off from stove and add the pasta, stir well.
- Add greek seasoning,black pepper,and parsley flakes and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine all well.
- Serve hot.

- Cook penne according to package directions for al dente. Meanwhile, in a large cast-iron skillet or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic; cook until shrimp are pink, 5-10 minutes. Remove from pan and keep warm., Stir cranberries and wine into same pan. Bring to a boil; cook until liquid is almost evaporated, about 5 minutes., Drain penne, reserving 1 cup of pasta water; add penne to pan. Stir in spinach, cream cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, parsley, salt and reserved shrimp. Cook and stir until mixture is heated through and cheeses are melted, about 5 minutes, adding enough reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Top with chopped walnuts.
