8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
1 pound ground venison
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (16 ounces) pizza sauce
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the venison, salt and pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain if necessary. Drain the macaroni; place half in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Top with half of the venison, pizza sauce, mushrooms and cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until heated through and cheese is melted.

1 large onion, chopped
3-1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 package (16 ounces) spiral or cavatappi pasta, cooked and drained
4 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
8 ounces sliced pepperoni

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pasta. , Transfer to 2 greased 13x9-in. baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange pepperoni over the top. , Bake, uncovered, 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Freeze option: Cool unbaked casseroles; cover and freeze up to 3 months. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake as directed, increasing time to 35-40 minutes or until heated through and a thermometer inserted in center reads 165°.,

1 package (16 oz) penne pasta
3 links sweet Italian sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 can (15 oz) Muir Glen™ organic pizza sauce
1 can (6 oz) pitted ripe olives, drained, sliced
1 can (4 oz) mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1 large bunch fresh basil, stems removed, leaves coarsely chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package, using minimum cook time.
  • Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, cook sausage, bell pepper and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until sausage is no longer pink and vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • In baking dish, mix pasta and pizza sauce. Add sausage-vegetable mixture, olives, mushrooms and basil; toss until well combined. Sprinkle with cheeses; top with pepperoni.
  • Bake uncovered 8 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.

1 pound ground venison or hamburger
1 can mushrooms (sliced) or fresh sauteed
1 small onion (chopped)
15 oz pizza sauce
Salt and pepper
Shredded Mozzarella cheese or cheddar
Pepperoni

Steps:

  • In skillet brown venison or hamburger with onions. In 2 quart baking dish add ½ of meat mixture and 1/2 of macaroni, pizza sauce, mushrooms, cheese and repeat layers. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 until heated and cheese is bubbly and brown. I sauteed fresh mushrooms with salt and pepper. I also added pepperonis (one layer) on top. I used cheddar jack for the cheese
